BTW if Anisimova wins her match against Keys, I see their match is going 3 sets, Rybakina will qualify for the SFs as first of the group

In the 2nd singles match,
Anisimova d Keys 46 63 62
That means that Rybakina has now qualified for the SFs, first in her group ( Serena Williams Group)
Madison Keys is eliminated
Anisimova will play Swiatek on Wednesday to decide who grabs the 2nd SF spot in the Serena Williams group

On social media, I just watched a video of Swiatek didnt bother shaking the umpires hand after she lost, she continues to be a sore loser,
Memo to Iga, Sportsmanship is a big part of our game, regardless of winning or losing a match!

She's an absolute pig. I love seeing her lose and better still when she gets absolutely destroyed. She should have been fined massive amounts for waving her hands in the air like Big Bird from Sesame Street in multiple matches where she tried to distract her opponents. An absolute pos.

Iga doesnt do herself any favors with the way she carries on, I personally have lost a lot of respect for her as a player

Coco Gauff keeps her hopes alive, defeats Paolini 63 62 in her 2nd round robin match.
Important win, it was in straight sets
Faces Sabalenka on Thursday
Paolini is eliminated from semi final contention

Did not watch the match but Pegula seems to have made it a bit difficult for Sabalenka

Sabalenka comes back from a break down in the 3rd set to defeat Pegula 64 26 63
Needed to win in SS, still not qualified, though needs to take one set v Gauff to win the group and not depend on Pegula v Paolini

Thursday will be interesting for the Stefanie Graf Group, there are only 2 SF spots with 3 players fighting for them, Sabalenka, Gauff and Pegula

Saw a nice and exciting doubles match and Babos-Stefani came out of the match tiebreak as winners, so they still have a chance

Didn't see it but the way Iga is acting like a spoiled kid is not right - she looks away and doesn't give a hand to the judge

No worries that you didnt see it, I only saw it because I was on social media and there was a video of her not shaking the umpires hand, as I said Sportsmanship is a big part of our game, at present she isnt doing herself any favors in acting the way she did at the end of the match

Madison Keys has withdrawn due to viral illness and has been replaced by the 2nd alternate Etakerina Alexandrova who will play Elena Rybakina
1st alternate Mirra Andreeva elected not to sign in due to not being fit to play today
Rybakina d Alexandrova 64 64

BTW,
From what I have read on social media there has been a bad virus going round, players like Keys, Paolini and Andreeva have been struck down with the illness.
