Here's what the 78 RPM of The King Elvis Presley looked and sounded like when it was issued in Great Britain!

"Mystery Train" is a song written and recorded by American blues musician Junior Parker in 1953. Originally performed in the style of a Memphis blues or rhythm and blues tune, it was inspired by earlier songs and later became a popular rockabilly song, as first covered by Elvis Presley, then numerous others.

Elvis Presley's version of "Mystery Train" was first released on August 20, 1955, as the B-side of "I Forgot to Remember to Forget".
In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it at number 77 on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Footnote: Big news for the british Elvis fans as it was recently announced that there will be an AI and hologram image combination that will play some shows beginning in november. Alas, you don't hear any such thing being developed on The Beatles, i wonder why that is.

Hello Vince! I know. I find them in antique shops & charity shops sometimes. I inherited some. I don't have a mobile phone I'm afraid. (I said I had a gramophone. Strictly speaking, that's not true. I've got a 1920's/30's portable Columbia Grafonola with detachable winding handle but where I come from that's classed as the same thing. I want a polished wood one with a brass horn but haven't been able to get hold of one.)

US $219 was paid for original 78 RPM Italian pressing on "Blue Suede Shoes". Hard to believe when we're going through and living in a harsh inflationary economic time. Shows that there some folks out there with money to burn.

The Truth about Me, an Elvis Monologue made in 1956, was issued and at one-time existed in 78 RPM !!! An awesome find! Wonder what their value is on the Presley diehard collectors market! Probably in the thousands.
