Today is the 79th anniversary of a little-known but deeply powerful encyclical written in German called "Mit Brennender Sorge", or "With burning concern". It was smuggled into Germany so the Nazi government would not know about it. It was read from the German Catholic pulpits on Palm Sunday of 1937. Here it is:

Correct. And yet, the hideously ignorant left in America and Europe still insist that Nazism was somehow an "extreme version" of Catholicism and/or Christianity akin to how ISIS supposedly hijacks Islam. This is one of the most historically baseless and ridiculous notions in the history of the world. The Nazis hated Christianity and rejected Christ outright. ISIS, on the other hand, takes Islam back to its founder and follows the example of the early Islamic armies.
