Alice's drop shot are good idea, but the ball goes high up in the air in the drop shots and that gives Serena plenty of time to get to them. If she can improve the dropshots by keep it low, then it would work.

This is the type of player Serena could try to tweake her game..serve body 2nd serves and volley..chip and charge Comet's backhand ,,,She really in no real threat to loose to this type of a player IMO

She doesn't give a lot of pace.. She will throw in a lot of drop shots which will not permit Serena to camp on the baseline ..she makes the game very uncomfortable for Serena.. Smart tennis from her but annoying for Serena

Unfortunately, the supporting cast is not good and so I think she will give it a pass. Only Jack Sock and Steven Johnson has a chance of making it into the draw in the first place with Serena. The others won't even be able to get in as there are only 16 teams allowed in the event.

Even if she plays, I doubt she can get gold considering the weak support.

Isn't any harm in trying Sock has won a doubles slam before, so who knows.
