this thread we will be covering outtakes or demo's by any band or artist. Just listening to a work in progress, versions of famous (and some that were not) hits is really fascinating.
And so over the years, it's been good that a lot comes out to include outtakes or demo's ( most notably Bob Dylan).

Other bands such as The Stones, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street and of course The Beatles recently and more did the same. So what are your favourite outtakes/demo's and have you made imaginary tracklistings for them?

The Rolling Stones - It Should Be You (1963 - Demo)

This demo was recorded at Regent Sound in Nov. 1963, & is one of the very earliest Jagger/Richards originals. Jagger on lead vocals here with (presumably) Jagger/Wyman/Jones on harmonies.

The Rolling Stones - Never Stop / Pre- Start Me Up (1975)

It would be six years later the Stones would rework the song as Start Me Up.

The Rolling Stones - Never Stop / Start me Up (1977)

A second version (1977) before Mick wrote and changed some lyrics and recorded new vocals for the 1981 release.

Jimi Hendrix Experience - Gloria

recorded at TTG Studios, Hollywood, CA, October 29, 1968. It surfaced
in1979 as a 7-inch vinyl single (often paired with "All Along the Watchtower" in different regions) and featured on The Essential Jimi Hendrix Volume Two compilation.

Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band - Point Blank (1979).

"Point Blank" was first released on 'The River' double LP in 1980 but on this earlier take, Bruce really rocks it up.
It's nothing like the Ballad arrangement that was released -
