In moments of the match Caroline played well (not saying she played bad) but she met an upcoming player, inspired, intense, playing really well - then thoughts begin: Is it worth going all the way with a chance of an injury, it's US Open coming up and I don't want another early excit. Guess I wouldn't either if it's me. She's defended her points from last year and got a fair quarter in US Open.
