Didn't see a thread for movie soundtracks here yet so here we go. I'm not gonna post dead obvious popular ones for now and focus instead on more obscure ones. A very violent Ruggero Deodato film from 1985 called Cut And Run. Personally I love this very 80's Italian synth soundtrack. The uncut film is on youtube for anyone who wants to check it out. Pretty nasty stuff so I won't link it but easy to search. Features Michael Berryman from the original Wes Craven "The Hills Have Eyes" (1977).

Anyway here's the title tune from Cut And Run. The guitar part at 1:49 is cool.

Paul Hertzog - Advanced Training. Great workout tune. Shame it's so short though.

you know we will have to double check but I bet it was his music in "once upon a time in the west".

its been a while since I saw that one. this movie has been called the greatest western ever made by Hollywood high brass.

But my favorite is probably Nino Rota. Before we even get to the Fellini work, how about one of the most recognizable themes ever?

I like the works of Piero Umiliani, Lalo Schifrin, Vangelis, Ennio Morricone, Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, Trevor Jones, John Carpenter, etc... I just love OST's ;)
Just a couple of favorites (mostly the "cheesy" ones ;)):

and Busta's version:

Disco version of favorite tune:

and Bomb the bass's version (Amiga - Xenon 2 ;))))

And personal favorite (in terms of greatness I put this tune among Carl orff's Carmina Burana... btw it gets real "nasty" on 3:35 ;))

Once Upon a Time in the West, Gladiator, The Lord of the Rings, the Lion King, The Godfather. Those would be my personal favorites.

I'm struggling to recall the music from Gladiator (one of my favourite movies), was it noteworthy?
