Moselle Open 2014

This week there was supposed to be two ATP 250 events, one at Metz and a new
ATP 250 event in Israel. But, the Israel event got cancelled due to conflict over there.
As a result, you would expect a stronger field in Metz, but that is not the real case.

There are 28 players in the draw and the top four get a bye. The top four
seeds are as follows

1. Jo W Tsonga
2. Gael Monfils
3. Philip Kohlschrbrier
4. Lukas Rosol

25 percentage of all participants are from host country, France. Other notable
players in the draw are David Goffin and JJ.

Don't worry, he won't last too long even in this tourney. He had to really struggle in
a three setter to win the first round match.

Stan has done that already once this year (pulling out of a small event at the last minute).
He pulled of a 250 clay during the clay season.

The problem is Stan has now become a big fish, but his schedule still looks like that of
a journeyman. Why did he even want to play in Metz?

Stan should think clearly and form a good schedule for 2015. You don't want to irritate
all the organizers of tournaments as you never know when you will need their help
(may be a wild card after injury etc).
