Triple F will serve to take it to the final set TB.

I have to say, the court those two are playing on has to be the fastest clay I have ever seen, probably faster than the main court.

Fabio smashes the racket in disgust as Grigor gets ahead 0-30

FFS is gone. This is a pity because I think either him or Stan would be a good barometre for Rafa in the qf...

Grigor breaks and wins the match. I think Fabio broke a string during his first serve on MP. How unlucky is that having to change rackets and have a second serve on mP against you. Good thing he did not double fault.

Either way, Rafa is safe...;)

It looked that way to me, for that specific court.

Sock lost the final set TB looks like. Too bad.

Are you forgetting Stanley Wow!, futuristic GOAT of the early part of 2014? Newly single and sporting a goatee beard and a tattoo, arrives for matches on a Harley Davidson?

I watches Stan last night. He seriously has to step it up.

And Rafa doesn't? But I get your point. Stan has levelled off...

Do you like it like Kieran would like it, or like Darth would like it?

Nothing really special, and this is coming from a his fan. His forehand is just not menacing enough as of now, and his defense isn't that good as well. Johnson only has a decent serve, and couldn't really trouble Nadal in any way. I am waiting to see him in the semis for example. (if possible)

Somewhere in the middle. I do not love him and have his babies like Kieran would, and I do not hate him as much as Darth ;). As an observer, this is the best first round he played in ages.

Agreed, seems like Rafa was just going through the motions, although SJ played well.

Nick has the first BP and gets it. Roger is not on the court yet mentally...

Let's see how the old guy plays against the youngster...

Break of Federer! I said he'd have trouble getting anywhere in this tourney! :nono :eyepop :cover "Skip it next year Roger!" I love the pace of this match, moving very quickly; 4 games in 10-11 minutes! With Rafa 2 games would probably be the tally! I still remember ridiculously long games and sets at the USO against Nole in the '11 final! They must have been averaging 10-16 for a couple games! It was interminable, but at least Nole took it in 4!
