Good to see the second semifinal available online the AO official channel.

This match became very competitive in the second set.

I just wanted to say that Pegula is my favorite female player right now. I do love how she plays the game but that is not even the reason.
There are players that come from nothing, like the Williams sisters, and they become top players because of amazing sacrifices made by everyone in the family and tons of hard work. I appreciate that immensely.
Then, there is Pegula...Her family has literally billions. She could spend her days on a yacht, travel the world, do absolutely nothing , be a Kardashian or whatever. But no...she chose to work hard and become a top player. I find that amazing. Of course daddy's money can by you gear , coaches and membership to great clubs but that still cannot make you a top 5 player. You need the drive. Having everything available to you yet still having the passion and the work ethic to be a top player amazes the F out of me ! How many people in that situation work this hard?

Just wanted to share.

All of this is true and fine. My pet peeve w/ her is the killer instinct. It's mainly missing, especially at the slams. It can't be taught and based on her background and personality, she may never achieve it. But, it's the biggest thing lacking for her to win a slam. I hope she gets there one day, I really do.
