Grandslams go back to 16 seeds

Starting from 2019 all four grandslams will revert back to 16 seeds the old model used before 2001.
I think it is a good move. 32 seeds offer way too much protection for top players.

At AO 2018, there will be more rule changes such as 25 second stop clock, punishment for unfit players playing just to get the prize money etc. It is not clear as to whether these changes are experimental and/or will be used in all other slams as well. I hope these changes are permanent and is followed everywhere from now on.

Maybe some seeds would be protected but not really the big 3. I doubt it makes much difference if they meet Monfils or Raonic in round 3 or in round 1.

The TB changes for Wimbledon and AO are interesting, although I prefer the previous format!
