simon needs to go find some food or steal it. that might have become his top priority right in the middle of the match.

it looks like he has not eaten in a month.

He always looks pale, gaunt and pretty unhealthy alright. Somewhat like a cold turkey junkie.

Curious to see the form of Roger. He has not played against Kohly a lot and surprisingly majority of their encounters were on grass. That rarely happens in any H2H these days. Kohly is a crafty player. By no means a walk in the park.

Milos-Sock underway. Milos had a long week, and Sock already has a win over him, so anything can happen here.
Great lob from Sock.

Isner is playing for 5 full weeks in a row (Atlanta, Washington, Montreal, Cincy and WS)
right before the US Open. He must be exhausted by the time he gets to NY and should
go out in the first or second round.

All of this on top of playing in Newport. Why he can't he schedule in an intelligent
manner to give himself better chances at USO. He should skip at least the WS to have
a decent chance.

I guess may be he is getting greedy about winning USO Series for the extra money.
Does he realize that even if he finishes first in USO Series, the extra money will by puny
if he goes out in 1st or 2nd round at US Open.

Sock takes the first set easily. One break and that was it. Milos looks sluggish.
Speaking of up and coming Americans, Sock might be one of the best.

Playing all those weeks and he's still not in the top 20. What does that tell you? Tells me Johnny boy is not that smart.

Milos sets up a break point with a beautiful forehand return and wins the next point to take the set.

Interesting thing happened though...Milos served out wide and got an ace and Sock challenged it, showing a mark on the court. I am pretty positive it was the right mark because it still had fuzz on it and it was clearly half an inch out. I mean, I saw daylight for sure, but the hawk-eye called it in. Strange...

Ok, now I have seen everything. Bird poops on the court , umpire is cleaning it. It was second serve for Milos, but now he gets first , because it is called hindrance. Sock with a BP bow.

Sock loses his serve from 40-0. That's gotta hurt. Milos up 4-2 in the third.

He has too many self imposed allegiances. I'm sure his fans will understand if he scheduled himself to an advantageous US open.

US Men Watch:

1st Rd is over, it is 50-50. 4 out of 8 Made it. They are Baker, Ryan, Blake and Isner.

2nd Rd. It is 50% or less as Ryan and Baker have already lost. Tomorrow
Isner is playing Gasquet and Blake is playing Tursnov. Both
are winnable matches. Let us see how it goes.

Roger has the old stick, looks like, unless it is the new one with the old one's paint job.
