Tipsy beating Querrey in 3 is an interesting result, especially coming back from a set down. Maybe he still has a bit of a fire left in him.
Good result for Dimitrov too. I am not too surprised with Fish losing to Kholy, that was never going to be easy for him.

Brian Baker vs. Grigor Dmitrov could be a good match. The winner of that match could potentially face Rafael Nadal in the 3rd round.

Blake-JJ playing. I have always liked Blake's game. I saw him live in Roger's Cup in Toronto once, and I could not believe the power that guy generated. Too bad he did not have the career I thought he could have.

Blake takes the first set 6-1. Way too many errors from JJ and he seems to think he can hit a winner every time he hits the ball. He should calm down. Blake is playing his game, plus a couple of really huge returns.

Ofc he does. Blake is good for one set, maybe an additional half. He cannot sustain this level for 3 sets. So if he's going to win, he needs to grab the break right here and serve for it.

Some killer backhand returns from Blake, and Blake gets the break . He will serve for it.

Blake played like JJ was trying to sneak into his home and steal food from his young family.. Best match that I have seen JB play in years.. He woulda been my wildcard in the darn draw challenge:nono

Level dropping is not Blake's problem. IMHO, his problem is not having plan B.
He plays his game and if it does not work out, he usually does not seem to know
how to adapt. In other words, he does not have on court match intelligence.
