Looks like a carbon copy of the same passing shot he hit for MP in the RG TB. I don't see how Zed recovers from this. It was right there and he couldn't get over the hump.

So the torch has truly passed from the Big 3 to The New Big 2! Tournaments will go out of their way to save them! Both Sinner & ALcaraz probably should be gone! ;-)

Definitely in his head. And the more it keeps happening, he likely has zero belief he will overcome it

Meddy did come back from 2 sets against Zed here a few years ago. Only to get to the final, go up 2 sets and then lose it to Red.

The final will have more special sauce now than a deluxe pizza with 25 toppings.

I was on the live chat with Britbox as I was live at that match with Alcaraz and Zverev, we both agreed that Zverev needed to win the 2nd set, and probably could not come back from 2 sets to love. So I decided to go to a restaurant and have a early dinner before Sinner v Novak match, and nearly fell off my chair at the restaurant when Zverev came back, the whole of Melbourne Park was hushed and still,
Never rule out Carlos, we have all seen that movie before, when Jannik was serving for the match at RG last year
Carlos that is what champions are made of, you are just one of them. Well done!
Alexander Zverev's biggest problem in the biggest moments of a match in the biggest tournaments is that he's still Alexander Zverev!
