Alot of rumors is all it is. The whole family is tight lipped and I don't think anything will be released until she's ready to say definitely where she wants to play. I do agree she will start w/ a smaller tourney playing doubs first before going to a slam. If it was me, I would drop down and play a few challengers. It's the only way she's going to know if she can handle the singles tour. The game has changed much since she left and she's 4 years older.

According to The Times, Emma Raducanu has brought back Mark Petchey ' on an informal basis' before the WTA1000 Indian Wells event. Petchey who works for as an analyst and commentator for Tennis Channel will reportedly help Raducanu during practice session in IW. Unclear whether Petchey, will continue coaching Raducanu after the IW tournament.

He doesn't want to travel that's why it didn't last in 2025. He's only helping her in these tourneys where he will be onsite working for TC and he can meet w/ her. He'd be a fool to dump his fulltime job at TC for her. She's too flaky. Liable to dump him after he left his job for her.

If I was coach there is No Way I would coach Raducanu look at her track record, Raducanu's coaches in the last 5 years!

P.Stearns (4) vs T.Townsend Townsend won their only career meeting at Cincinnati qualifying in August 2022.

Townsend was serving for the 1st set at 5-4, got tight and it went to a TB which Stearns won 76(8) both ladies had their chances in the 1st set,
In the 2nd set both players had breaks early, neither player could consolidate, finally Stearns breaks and will serve for the match and title
Stearns d Townsend 76(8) 75 to win the ATX Open title.

After a break Townsend and her doubles partner Hunter have a chance to win the doubles title.

WTA announced today that Memphis will return to the WTA Tour for the first time in almost 15 years.
WTA250 Memphis Classic will take place the week of July 27 ( replacing the Cleveland event which was due to be held in late August)
It will be played on outdoor hard court.
