Seeds through on Sunday 10th May,

Swiatek (4), Svitolina (7), Pegula (5), Osaka (15) Rybakina (2)

Apparently Francisco Roig, new coach of Iga torn his achilles tendon in practice with Iga, in early May, he had surgery and has come back to coach her sitting in a chair with his cast still on, recovery time is around 9 months

Seeds that lost,
Baptiste (32), Shnaider (19) Samsonova (20) Keys (15)
I'm gonna say it.. I know that goofy broad doesnt think that Rafa is gonna be her coach until Frankie Roiq heals up!

Well Iga did a training block at Rafa's academy after she parted with Wim Fissette, had a small trial with Roig there and she hired Roig, I also saw Rafa watching her in practice there, no he hasnt the time to coach full time, he has 2 young children and wants to spend time with his family.

Swiatek v Osaka match just started, Iga's movement on clay is far better than Osaka's and she breaks Osaka's serve in her first service game ( I am also watching my Italian Cobolli at the same time ) Back on serve, as Iga's serve let her down 2 all first set, Iga breaks back this match early has become a " Break A Thon"
Finally Iga holds, leads 4-2

Osaka is trying, but as usual can't get her UEs in check.

Has Osaka been hanging around with Ostapenko :)
Not likely. Neither have any real friends on the tour. It's just her narrow view of playing. She's in good shape and lost all the baby weight but mentally she's not prepared to stay out there and slug it out on the dirt. That's exactly what's needed. She got away w/ it in the early rounds because she wasn't playing anybody who could really threaten her. Well this is R16. You face a seed now, so the likelihood is that opponent will have some form.

I was joking because Osaka has turned into a UFE machine, like Osta can at times.
Osaka movement on clay is rather poor and she can be exposed like Iga moves well on clay for starters, on clay the trick is to keep your UFE low

I know you were joking. But I was not joking. They really don't have any friends. Osta by choice and Naomi because of her ME complex.

Oh well that is their choice, sad to say also Zheng dosent have or want any friends on the tour etiher
You know you are in the locker room with these players and are touring with them for most of the year, personally speaking I would want to have some friendships

Pliskobot back to her old ways of flat ball hitting w/ no explosive movement. At least Elena being about the same height is somewhat a mobile unit.
Elena moves better, still if you want to upset Elena you have to make her move laterally most of the time, which is hard to do, she does tend to play first strike tennis, though on clay you might have a better chance
