Agreed, I saw what I needed to see with that final. Amanda didn't have it that day, and that's fine. Another set probably would have been the same. Even worse, imagine if Swiatek has a Dmitrov moment during a hypothetical 3rd set.

I kind of feel cheated that Sinner won the title because he was being dominated in the Dmitrov match.

I was just going through Wim Fissette's coaching resume
This was the first GS title for Wim ( he is the new coach of Iga ) since the 2021 AO with Osaka
I'm sure he's been under a lot of pressure he coaches a generational talent who'd won a least one slam in 4 over the last 5 seasons
