Yes, that is what I meant. I think they pull even farther away from the rest of the field after this tournament and final, as far as chances for Paris. I do think that Carlos pulled a bit away from Jannik for the French with this win, but we can disagree a little bit on that.
What I don't agree with is what Jimmy Arias has been saying for a couple of days, which is that if Sinner won this final over Alcaraz, he would become the favorite for RG. I think that still would have been arguable, unless, like I said, it had been a rout. If Sinner had looked like he did v. Ruud the other day. But I'm just disagreeing with a commentator. (And also likely the odds makers, who have very short memories. LOL.)
