Nah Moxie..I think this time you misunderstood my message..The Kardashian are an extremely good looking family. The Nadal clan is in that realm wouldn’t you agree.

Definitely. I'm not a feminist or anything but I just don't like to think people see women as just fancy-pieces. I'm for equality. I just wanted to remind people women have voices & head-pieces too. I know some men don't like this. I also like men with voices & head-pieces.

I think you might be generalizing a little bit with the way men think. Most of my good friends and I are certainly not like that. Of course guys like to look at celebrities and comment. But for a personal relationship/strong friendship - it's usually mind over matter, virtues over appearances. Of course YMMV..

I think there's just been pretty low interest in the final. The TV ratings were down significantly. There was also not as much media interest, articles and coverage post French Open. I think Nadal has just made it so commonplace that it's bordering being dull for general viewers.
That being said, if Novak had made the Final, things might have been different.

Nadal just lost one set at the F.O, but I think he was pretty vulnerable overall. Certainly not one of his better roads to the title. The only worse one I can recall is in 2011. He's also talked about not being sure about defending this title next year, and his Wimbledon participation is in doubt. So I don't know what's going on. People are projecting him to catch Federer, but maybe there is something else which was reflected in his game too.

I don't think his Wimbledon participation is in doubt. He just pulled out of Queens saying the doctor told him he "needs some rest after a long clay court season." He didn't mention any injury. He'll play Wimbledon IMO.

But yeah, post final narratives were pretty low because in large part, there isn't much that hasn't been already said and in a lot of people's minds, 10 and 11 aren't that different. In other words, all the superlatives you used to describe #10, you apply them to #11. Last year was different because A) it was #10 and B) Nadal hadn't won it in a while and it was his return to glory.
