Nothing bizarre about it. Some players do peak in their late twenties like Wawrinka does, Anderson does, and so on.
Tsonga might not be among them, not to mention Tsonga is 2 years older than Nole. Who knows, perhaps in 2 years from now, Nole also would be beyond his best and going downhill.
Also, Tsonga had many injuries through his career, while Nole not so much.
