Good to see Almagro back. Nobody really talked about him the last couple opf months, but he was sidelined by injury ever since he beat Nadal in Barcelona.
Now he is ranked very low compared to his usual level, it will be interesting if he can climb his way back into top 20, where he was for many years.
Anyway, the first matches went as expected, Murray beat Lopez in 3 sets and Wawrinka in straight sets Nico.
Tomorrow Nadal plays Murray and Nole plays Stan

To put things into perspective from Rusty Rafa this was Rafa's 8th match in 6 months

Murray played the big points well and saved 11BPS

Rafa said after the match " I dominated a lot of points but couldn't quite finish.I will improve".

Lol! I'm reminded of Roddick beating Roger at Kooyong and talking about how he thought he'd solved the Federer riddle. It got unsolved in the AO semi-final that year in 3 brutal sets of a vicious beatdown. This was an exhibition, nothing more.. nothing less
