Djokovic leads the H2H record 11-8 but Murray won their last encounter which was 2013 Wimbledon final.

I hope this match goes to three sets!

I would like to see Murray win this match so he could finally gain some momentum this year but I think Djokovic would prevail in three tough sets.

Andy is having a problem with his left hip and I don't expect Djokovic will donate like Tsonga did today so I will have to go with Djokovic. I had so wanted to see Andy do well in this Tournament, but he ends up with yet another injury!

I don't see Murray hitting through Novak on this surface. He needs to have a great serving day. It will be close, but I think Novak will prevail.

Well it's going to be tight, as usual between these two. Nole not at his best, and Murray has physical issues (back too?). It's probably going to be ugly again.

Voted for Novak in three.

I dunno really, Murray seems to frustrate Djokovic and turn his game to mush these days. Wouldn't be surprised to see Murray win to be honest.

To beat Nole you don't have to hit through Nole, you do need to keep the ball deep.V Tsonga that's what Andy did in 3rd set,no-one likes playing Andy when he hits deep.

I think Murray can take this. But if the hip deal lingers it would be hard to imagine Andy overcoming all those odds. Hopefully it turns out to be a quality match either way.

Hard to see Andy taking this. I don't even think it'll be close: it'll be cruelly efficient, from Nole...

I agree that it's hard to see Andy winning this one, though I went with 3 sets. Andy looked rough with the back today, at first, but he played a great match. But 2 or 3, I don't think he's match-tough enough to take Novak.

I would like Andy to win due to vested interest.

However, I think Novak will win this.

The h2h might have been closer if Andy had not done his wrist in,some of them wins was when Murray was coming back.

2007, his right wrist gave out in one terribly explosive moment. It was a horrible event and one which, when he looks back, was a catharsis. "Maybe it would still have happened if I'd gathered a different team around me sooner," Murray recalls. "The risk is always there but perhaps it could have been reduced." And so, as Murray wondered who might coach him from November 2007 onwards, the decision was taken to employ a strong core of people who would enhance his physical well-being. He said: "Having finished that season so strongly (had Murray beaten Gasquet in the quarterfinal of the BNP Paribas Masters in Bercy, he would have qualified for the Masters Cup), I wanted to come back in even better form. There was no torture I wouldn't consider, including track work for the first time in my life."

Sad to say but I agree with you Moxie. Hoping we're both wrong though.

Bad hips and to pigy back on BS's point. Murray can't hit through Djoker on this court.. I got Djoker in this one and Murray will feel alot of Pain afterwards(Djoker does that to everyone, influxes pain for his opponents to compete at a high level against him, IMO

I respectfully disagree. Part of the problem for Murray against Novak on this sort of surface in the past (medium and slower paced hard courts) is that Novak, when playing well, will not beat himself, so Murray can't just rely on that. On this type of surface, Murray's counter-punching doesn't really trouble Novak, and Andy will be forced to play a touch outside of his comfort zone. If he does, and executes well, he most certainly can win. But that's a game Andy isn't always comfortable playing, especially against Djokovic.
