On this surface, Novak. Dubai was considerably faster which helped Roger. Though no result would shock me as Novak has looked a little iffy.

Now comes the real test for Roger, Nole on a slow hard court. If you go on form it is one way traffic but we know by now form means little when we are talking the best players. They said there shouldn't be much wind tomorrow. If it's windy that is a big edge to Roger. I will be interested to see if Roger can still play a relatively clean match against someone who is putting a lot more balls in play than his other opponents.

Hopefully this win will lift Novak in the final.Novak needs this win..he has been down on confidence and focus and some of his shot selections have left me mystified at times.

Novak in 3 sets.

Novak in three. I feel it my bones (could be woefully wrong, mind you...).

And I thought you were going to put up a fight, being #1 Nole fan.

What's up?

This OP sounds like Fed in 2

Where's Darthfed?

Rejuvenated Roger definitely wins against Deflated Djokovic.

I am not voting yet as I have not decided whether to be gracious enough to
give Novak a set. Most probably he won't even get a set. I am posting this
message for the record, in case I forget to vote in time.

Fed has not lost a set in IW at all. Also, his game seems to be improving.
In 1st and 2nd matches, he was not all that impressive. But, he has enormously
improved in the last three matches against Haas, Anderson and Dog.

Novak has certainly looked out of focus at IW consistently, right from the first match
to this semifinal against Isner. He cannot have so much concentration lapses against the
Master.

Unfounded enthusiasm.

It's a hunch, what can I say.

If you don't vote, I won't count your prediction though. Voting is the only record. :laydownlaughing

That COULD be arranged!

See. I can even give you a choice!
