This is preposterous. I never would have guessed we would enter an era in which basic science is discarded. Yet somehow the popularity of “gender reveal parties” continues. (I don’t know if that’s a USA-only thing?)

what I find odd is that in other sports the athletes make the adjustments, not the sports authorities. UK is a multi-ethinic society trying to be multi-cultural. It's not going to end well

Exactly!

And there’s a very simple solution: when the ball goes out of play let the Muslim players leave the field to break their fast.

But play continues, and they can’t return to the field until the ball goes back out again. Trust me, managers will pick players who can play the full 90 minutes without pause…

it's a good clip, but it's from about 10 years ago. Will Cain if I remember correctly. He wasn't fired because of this, but his position there became untenable because his political views clearly didn't align with Disney. He may have been phased out during their cuts or he may have walked I forget, but he's now on Fox and I think he does as much political stuff now as he does sports

I know it is older but I wanted to display the mentality...Same conversations going on right now , about WNBA players "threatening" not to play ! That would be a bonus if you asked me but they just don't get that they are fully subsidized by NBA and did not turn a profit since day one. Why ? Because WOMEN are not going to the games to support them .
