That’s interesting, right? I thought this was the idealistic organisation that Novak was happy to stump for. Now, which can say? I thought it was an ego trip on his part but maybe it wasn’t?
All of Djokovic's actions since the antitrust suit was filed suggest he's simply not down with it.
1. Declining to be a plaintiff
2. Publicly expressing mixed feeling
3. Officially exiting the association.

In recent months he has been distancing himself from PTPA which needs to be questioned for what it really has not achieved?

And, who it really serves?

Gil Gross has interviewed a Spanish Journalist from @ PuntoDBreak, which is a very reliable source, as I use it myself, The Alcaraz-Ferrero Split
Podcast.apple.com/us/podcast/mon.

Worth a listen.

That link doesn't work. I would love to hear it. I am also a fan of Punto de Break.

Oh! if you can google Gil Gross on Twitter or now called X thats where I listen and I just copied the links below for TF. Gil always does a review on a Monday and he decided to interview a journo from Punto de Break., regarding the split between Alcaraz and Ferrero and get a Spanish point of view
Moxie I just googled Gil Gross on Twitter and that podcast came up.

Juncheng Shang is a young player to watch this year. He got on the map in late 2024 when he won an ATP 250 and finished the year #50 at 19 years old. But he was out for most of 2025 and played only a handful of events. He's someone who could potentially be in the mix with Tien and Mensik for top non-Brazillian young guns.

Jiri Lehecka, defending champion at Brisbane International was forced to retire in his 2nd round match due to a ankle injury, hopefully he will be okay for AO, Seb Korder through 63 1-2

Another player under an injury cloud is Taylor Fritz, who in the off season has been re-habing his knee, he said it is still painful and will continue to do rehab while he travels, though if it gets to a point when it becomes too painful he will stop and have time off the tour. Taylor is currently in Team USA for United Cup, he lost his singles match to Tsitsipas today,in straight sets, though Team USA., who are the defending champions won the mixed doubles ( with Gauff and Christian Harrison) and have qualified for the SFs to take place in Sydney.

Did anyone mention Tsitsipas defeating Fritz at the UC? Did he find a new guru or something?

If you read my post above I did mention Tsitsipas defeated Fritz? Fritz has been struggling with knee tendinitis, he has been rehabbing in the off season, he said he would still keep re habbing, though if the pain got worse he would stop and take time off the tour to fix it, I would not read too much into Tsitsipas beating him,

What's the over/under on ATP match wins this year for Wawinka? He was 4-13 last year, 10-17 the year before, 27-23 in 2023...and before that, 8-14 in '22, 3-3 in '21. So except for a brief return to the top 50 in '23, he's been mostly on the Challenger circuit. Still, nice to see him around.

Well I am still waiting for Stan to receive a wild card into the AO, he is a past champion, to my knowledge there are 3 more wild cards to be handed out in the mens section
I would be surprised if Nick K gets a wild card, though he is a favorite of Craig Tiley, who says he does put bums on seats he went out in straight sets in Brisbane in his singles match and he and Thanasi K went out in their doubles match last night
Nick K and Thanasi K could receive a wild card into the doubles draw seeing they are past doubles champions at the AO

The player that has caught the attention at the United Cup is Hubi, he defeated Zverev in straight sets, Zverev had his usual hissy fit and could not believe that Hubi who has been off the tour for 7 months could come back and beat him, his serving was impressive.Hubi will be unseeded at the AO

It probably won't happen, but knowing it's his last year, I hope Stan goes out on a high note and gets the 17 wins needed to get to 600.

Czechia and Mensik's elimination from United Cup ( capping the amount of points Taylor Fritz may still earn this week) ensure there will be a new ATP Top 5 on Monday- Alex de Minaur or Lorenzo Musetti.
If Musetti loses before final at Hong Kong, AdM is #5
If Musetti loses in Hong Kong final, AdM needs to beat Fritz in SF or 'both' Hurkacz in QF and Bergs in final to be No 5
If Musetti wins Hong Kong, AdM needs to beat Hurkacz in QF, Fritz in SF and whomever he meets in the final to be No 5
