Iga is just one game away from a Wimbledon title
Amanda has struggled in the past with mental demons I hope this match dosent bring them back again

Quite frankly I am still in a state of shock
I hope this dosent affect Amanda too much, she never got over her nerves from the start of the match

This has to be the first time in my 37 years of life that a slam final ended 6-0, 6-0. Hopefully, the men's final next year is better than this. (To be fair, the 2015 final on my 27th birthday was a one-sided Novak win. And of course, the 2020 never happened.)

What a wonderful speech from Amanda, fighting back tears, her mom used to coach her as a junior before her dad took over, then tragically he died young
I have got tears in my eyes as I am listening to her

Wery well playing Iga who is the first woman in Wimbledon this century to win 6-0 6-0 . Last time it happened was in 1911 so great win. Felt a little sorry for Anisimova but that's tennis and it's still a great thing to be in a grand slam final

Iga just needs to win the AO, a title she has yet to win to complete her career slam

House chores more interesting than this final. When all others fail, Iga is there and she took the opportunity. Simple as that.
Don Hi

This was so sad to watch, got to give credit where it is due Iga deserves her title she was all business out there today

And the ladies in 1911 were Dorothea Lambert Chambers who defeated Dora Boothby 6–0, 6–0 - both from UK

This came to my mind Keys lost the final to Stephens at the USO 63 60 2017
Keys finally won her first GS title this year at the AO
So there is still hope for Amanda
My dad used to say you have to lose a GS final in order to know how to win one
Hopefully next time when Amanda is in a GS final she will know how to handle her nerves
