yes that's right. 'Radio Ga-Ga' was at it's sheer best at the '85 Live Aid. Certainly agree.
Did you play any of the new Odeon '75 dvd which is on YT ? Interesting to hear how Mercury and the Band segues from Bohemian to Killer Queen.

Getting back to the Beatles now :drums:
Found this video of their famous Rooftop concert. It's a very good edit by whoever uploaded this with matching mono audio synched with the film from 'Let it Be' . Beats me why the movie has not yet been re-released on dvd or blu-ray formats.

A new mix of the complete August 30, 1965 Hollywood Bowl Concert. Parts of the concert was compiled and mastered by George Martin along with a 1964 concert from the same arena , but it never sounded as good as this -

Hey britbox, no haven't touched either of the Beatles concerts. They don't need it. Am going to download 'em. These are significantly improved from the Hollywood Bowl compilation that George Martin remastered in 1977. Back then Martin opted to make a composite album from both concerts.

Two delightful takes of 'Day Tripper'. The instrumental take sounds cool but is too short -

You should try to give this young German a chance. I've never heard anything like that that good - and he is only 21

And here from a festival when he was 19

And how about this - Swanee river as you've never heard it - he was 14! then:

Really cool video of George Harrison song 'What is Life' . From the mega selling 'All Things must Pass' triple long-player (circa 1971).

Interesting video of John Lennon in the hit factory recording session talking to the record producer, Jack Douglas one day after turning 40 (October 10 1980). Guess this was the time they were mixing his and his wife's final album, 'Double Fantasy'.

Hilarious Quote - "What the BBC did , Stupid idiots, was to screen it (ie Magical Mystery Tour Movie) in Black and White around Christmas (1967) on BBC-2.

Fans of Disturbed will probably love this song as it features their lead singer. I don't really like many of the other songs on this album by Device but this song is class.

Apparently there are a few authors hopping mad about this!
I've heard that, and it seems very crabby and parochial. Personally, I like that they looked to a broader definition of literature. The earliest literature was spoken or sung, not written into novels.
