The dreaded Voegele, eh? Lol. If Sloane doesn't choke like in Linz then she'll be fine.

Go go Woz, Fran, Hsieh, Vecik, Meusburger :D

I wrote not much to play about but that's maybe not quite true - the actual ranking with Moscau, Sofia and istanbul stripped gives something of interest around the 10th spot. Because of bonuses for top 10 players it's intersting who stays in top 10 or comes into top 10 by yearend (that is after Sofia)

10 Caroline Wozniacki Luxembourg 3300
11 Sloane Stephens Luxembourg 3185
12 Marion Bartoli 3172 retired
13 Roberta Vinci Moscow 3170

Caro, Sloane and Roberta is playing about the 10th spot - I hope of course that Caroline claims that. Vinci has to win in Moscau (and Caroline NOT winning Luxembourg) and that is not likely even if the top players are out of Moscau (in fact is the top in Luxembourg higher ranked than in Moscau - where no players from top 10 takes part!). Sloane is not playing well right now and is in the difficult half in Luxembourg, and she has to win. Order of play Monday:

CENTRAL

15:00 Heather Watson (GBR) V Yanina Wickmayer (BEL) 1st 06 75 26

20:00 Tsvetana Pironkova (BUL) V Annika Beck (GER) 1st 26 26

COURT 1
Time Match

May not go so easily for Woz with the break-up with Rory.

As long as I haven't heard it from the horse's mouth I don't believe IE rumors - they have done this gossip a few times before, and every time with a source close to them. No this is fake as usual.:nono

Were there previous break-up rumors that proved false? This one looks real. I believe the couple is no longer together.

Woz has lost too much weight. She should regain some of it. Starting to look unhealthy.

I'm a little bit stunned that regulars on Tennisfrontier has jumped on the rumor mill. As long as you don't hear it from the horse's mouth - don't believe it. Irish newspapers have tried to provoke a breakup ever since they met. Try to read the article - Wozniacki is said to -----, WHO is talking nobody with a name apparently. That funny picture should be a reason - come on - they are making fun of each other all the time. Those who follow Caroline and Rory on Twitter will agree with me. So it's all nonsense as usual - don't trust Irish newspapers too many Leprechauns running around there :)
And last but not least she's (Yes Caroline) been out today in a Danish newspaper telling that it's a fake as usual.:laydownlaughing

Does she look devastated? (From Dancing with the stars - Saturday night in Copenhagen)

She looks stunning!

Thanks Kiu always a pleasure to help, and when it's in your own timezone it's even better:cool:

Here is a fairly objective article about the latest rumors - and with a denial from Caroline - well read it for yourself:

Caroline about the rumors

Luxembourg tournament issues a paper every day with detqails about the players in action and other info. It's written in German and French so if you are friends with those languages it's easy to read - have a go anyway:

Tuesday's paper

And then there's a nice gallery with pictures from the matches - 1 day behind but it's nice - here is McHale and Giorgi in action (she didn't manage to get into the maindraw - another one time wonder):

Flipkins and Barthel were the falling seeds today. Sloane made an acceptable match today did no more no less than she should. Caroline also won her match in a match that had great quality from time to time. What I specially looked at with pleasure, was her forehand it's really getting better. SO Caroline go get this title:clap

Just seen most of Bouchard vs Petkovic - as expected brilliant match, where many of Bouchards qualities were shown - she won 1st set and was up 41 in second when Petkovic showed her qualities fighting back. She won easily 3rd set because Bouchard was a bit desillusioned in 3rd set. We'll hear much more from Bouchard in 2014 - she's a coming player - but well done ladies - even if the linejudges are poor in Luxembourg. Too many doubtfull decisions.

Genie to me has the most potential...she plays an aggressive game and seems hungry for wins.I see her as a winner at USA Open or Wimbledon.
I think that hungry mindset will win her big events....

I agree, Tossip. Bouchard will be a top ten vey soon. On a more frivolous note, I notice she has switched to Adidas. The gray Nike skirt was awful.

Sloane and Sabine should have no issues, same as Caro.
Knapp vs. Petko is a tricky call.
Voegele has beaten Pliskova twice and hasn't lost.

I am waiting to see Caro play.
I saw some of Sabine's match, she was playing pretty good, especially in the second set.
