A fun game where you score points for predicting the match results in the tennis tournaments.

You pick the winners at the beginning of the tournament.

Tennis Draw Challenge Instructions

In a nutshell...

If you aren't a member of the Tennis Frontier website (the one you're reading - sign up - top right and then we can track your score), then...

1. Goto http://www.tennisdrawchallenge.com/ and register a new account (if you haven't got an account already). Try and use the same username as you use on this website.

2. When you are registered, click the GROUP menu option (at the top) and join the Discuss.Tennis Group (we're near the top).

3. Then click BRACKET menu option at the top and you'll see the tournaments for either WTA or ATP. Click In the second column, you will see a "Make your picks now" link. Click on this to make your picks. You can toggle between ATP and WTA tournament listing by clicking the "WTA" and "ATP" buttons at the top.

My first version always goes bold. Will revise tomorrow, though.

My last version always goes bold... and I never manage to travel back in time to change it. It takes too much time to do it. Anyway the blame is on this stupid players that simply are not brave enough to make my fantastic bold predictions become reality. Those idiots. I hate them all. Stupid game. Where the hell is Dustin Brown?

Why I cannot put the score on my predictions? I want to put a 6x0 6x1 6x0 score in a second round match! Stupid little game! AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

You never know if it's better to think every match through, take a look at player's history on the particular tournament, h2h and all that, or just go with the gut feeling.

Sweet Jeez. I'm so far down at the bottom I don't even make the first screen. I think talking smack to @mrzz over the last two majors has prompted a dose of karma.

I am hanging in there, but Evans really should have won that match against Sousa. So many breaks and leads and he blew it up all. Now ended only with big3 to get me some points. Same with women's draw, all on Pliskova and Serena.

I'm near the bottom in both as well, most of my late picks flamed out :p
I've clawed my way off the bottom. I can usually rely on @El Dude to help out in this scenario.
2nd on the WTA ladder, but will swap places with @don_fabio (3rd) if Serena wins. @mrzz was too terrified to enter the WTA draw.
@Tenfan63 has the WTA title locked up already. Congrats!

The WTA Draw Challenge is complete.

Congrats to @Tenfan63

Unlike tennis in general, WTA draw challenges are regarded as the far tougher, where the best of the best face off. Occasionally, people who do well in the ATP Bush League predictions get invited to compete in this premier competition. @mrzz - we'll see you at the US Open.

It is hard to click on the right boxes when your hands are trembling so much, but I'll give it a try.
