Well in all honesty, the west have created a mess there and I really don't know how they will solve the situation. I feel that it is getting out of control and that even a bigger scale confrontation is possible. Now with the downing of the Russian plane by Turkey and shooting down of the rescue chopper. I think Turkey showed openly now what side they are on.
