Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and the most populous urban area in the Nordic countries; 965,232 people live in the municipality, approximately 1.6 million in the urban area, and 2.4 million in the metropolitan area. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Outside the city to the east, and along the coast, is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the county seat of Stockholm County.

Tomic lost to Dan Evans today. No surprise. But I had to look it up...Tomic is ranked #180. I wonder if he's going to work hard for a comeback, or just evaporate. Maybe @MargaretMcAleer has some intel.

Tipsarevic could have had a better career without all of the injuries. I like him. Fognini...what is there to say? At least he's more amusing and rather less of a fuck up than Dimitrov.

Dimitrov was more interested in chasing the pussycat dolls then tennis

Oh, if only he were a playboy, or someone with an actual flair for self-destruction, like Geralitis or Safin. No, he's just an under-prepared underachiever, which is the biggest ho-hum of all. Or, maybe better said, he's an over-achiever. Given his lack of ambition and resistance to some very good coaching, it's surprising he's even done as well as he has.

Looks like a first title for Denis is on the horizon, but Krajinovic is a decent player. Could be an interesting match.

It would be a first title for either of them.
For Denis is actually his first final of an ATP event. He was long overdue for one.

I admit I’m surprised by this.

He won the first set 6-4, and it’s 2-2 in the second.

I know. He has been talked about for more than 2 years by now, as a future elite, but other than some deep runs in a couple of masters, he hasn't done anything outstanding.
Hopefully that changes today.
