Okay, I'm in a Bond mood, I admit it. I watched Skyfall last night and Spectre this morning. Now I'm watching Casino Royale.

Based upon the principle that Quantum of Solace wasn't as bad as it's made out to be, but is still the worst of the Daniel Craig Bonds, and that most of us haven't yet seen SPECTRE, which of these two films do you prefer?

Casino Royale? Or Skyfall?

Gotta go w/ Skyfall. That villain makes Le Shiff & company look like Bambi.

I'm torn! I watched CR last night and had forgotten how rugged and brilliant it is. I think Leshiff is one of the great characters in James Bond films, but (big ignorant statement by me coming up) I think Javier Bardem hams it up a little in Skyfall. But it's hard to choose between them. I'd have Spectre a little behind these, with QoS as the Muzza of the pile... :snicker

Daniel Craig was flawless in CR, the story was excellent, get action, suspenseful and beautiful actresses. Great Villians
Great opening song , IMO, Skyfall was very overrated

I don't agree w/ that. In CR Bond was so emotional. I remember thinking what is going on w/ this new Bond. 007 doesn't go soft over a female. He handles women like Capt Kirk did: love em and leave em.

In fairness, in the books I think Bond got married. I don't think Skyfall was overrated at all, it has great tension throughout and some brilliant set-pieces. I just went for CR because I think marginally it's got more, with the physicality, and characters like Mathis who remind of actual spies, working alone in the field...

well we can as usual agree to disagree. I don't understand what KS is saying Bond was emotional. The director said that he was trying to create a Bond character that had a lot of substance in the I Fleming books
. I just saw Spectre , I was far more interesting than Skyfall, I actually enjoyed it.
