Here's flashscore stats on the second men's semifinals:

Sinner hit a staggering 72 winners to Novak's 46. Against most players that would have ensured him a straight sets win.

Net points won, they're about even - 17/33 for ND against 22/28 for JS.

The real telling stat was on Break points converted.

2/18 (11 percent) for JS vs. 3/8 (38 percent) for ND. Novak's made the most of his opportunities than Sinner.

Dont remind me I was in the 'fetel' position live at RLA Sinner had enough BPs to win, he was too passive
Quite frankly Jannik didnt bring his best tennis to the AO, then Novak had a easy path to the SF with a walk over at the QF and then Musetti was rolling him being up 2 sets to love and sad to say he had to retire ( due to injury) , Musetti was playing the best tennis I have seen him play in a long time as well'

I didn't watch these matches live. I chose to broke with tradition this year.

Am absolutely fed up with Channel 9 OTT carnival style presentation of the AO and have had to settle for radio audio, where it was nice to hear as JohnAlexander and Paul McNamee were involved.

Also knowing that the official YT channel would put up those EPiC matches with different commentators and stable images (without the heavy plugs that Nine does for "Married at First Sight" rubbish).
