June 3, 1967 EPISODE

Here is the next episode in the brief Spring of ’67 back-to-back episodes.
This video has been compiled from various copies and other YT sources, but most of what aired on VH1 is here. I think “Mirage” got cut off by whoever taped this on their VCR and I don’t think the kids dancing to Otis Reddings’ “Shake” or the Mark Lindsay segment were ever included on this shortened episode, but I could be wrong.

On the Billboard Hot 100 today:

1) RESPECT – Aretha Franklin
2) Groovin’ – The Young Rascals
3) I Got Rhythm – The Happenings
4) Release Me – Engelbert Humperdinck
5) Creeque Alley – The Mamas & the Papas
6) Him or Me -What’s It Gonna Be – Paul Revere & the Raiders
9) Somebody to Love – Jefferson Airplane
10) All I Need – The Temptations
11) Mirage – Tommy James and the Shondells

Summer of 1967 american television adds. This was during the Monkees TV series. And i feel it fits in nicely in context with the spirit of this topic.
