The funny thing about this match is that Saba might think she’d needs redemption for her match v Anisimova at Wimbledon, but I was surprised to see that Anisimova leads the H2H 6-3.

Sabalenko, being typical of a lot of bullish players, can fold on the big stage. I hope she does. As you say, “ultimate redemption”, it’s the best form of it..

Amanda holds the advantage in their rivalry due to some early wins. She was a bad matchup for Saba back in the day. Amanda would beat her regularly before she became #1. I think Wimby was the first time AA won a match in awhile.

Anisimove got her 'redemption' defeating Swiatek in the SF in straight sets, after the double bagel she suffered at Wimbledon.

This final is a 'whole new ball game'

Sabalenka has reached the final of the last 6 hard court majors. Aryna is into her 6th consecutive final on hard courts and is one win away from defending her title.

Amanda leads their H2H 6-3, they're split their meetings this season 1-1. Amanda winning their most recent meeting in the SF at Wimbledon and is one win away from her Maiden Grand Slam title.

Can Amanda, another American, spoil Sabalenka's chances again of a GS title in 2025? like fellow American's Keys and Gauff did so at the AO and RG?

Both women were down a set in their SF matches and came back to win.

Both women are good aggressive offensive players, who can hit winners from both sides of the court.Amanda possesses one of the best bhands in the WTA tour, it is a joy to watch..

Likewise with Aryna's power off the ground on both wings, it is not easy for any player to contend with.

Both players will be 'vying' to get their 1st serves in, to play first strike tennis and controlling the baseline.

I been sayin' all week long i wanna see Amanda "do some damage" and she already has with her wins against Swiatek and Osaka

The way she played out the second set tiebreaker vs. Naomi, where she went for her shots and nailed some winners, to me, looked liked a good positive sign that augurs well for her future.
