Disappointing news for Laura Robson I am afraid....just read a report from Kamakshi Tandon

Laura Robson has pulled out of Madrid tournament with a continuing wrist injury and could miss Roland Garos.The Times reports that Robson is now considering having a injection,which would leave her sidelined for six weeks.If that does not fix the problem,she could opt for surgery.

Robson has not played since the Australian Open and is now ranked 64th after reaching no 27 last year.

Judy Murray,the British Fed Cup Captain said Robson should not try to return too quickly.
"I'm not sure when she's going to be back.You have to be careful with wrist injuries.She has not played since the AO so she will be anxious to get back playing,but you can't rush that kind of injury".

It looks like Vika is spending time with family in Belarus. Good for her.

I think Serena's hair could have looked better on that cover. Her best hairstyle, in my opinion, was when she was jogging on a WTA tv commercial.

Laura Robson announced on her face book page that she will miss Roland Garos and Wimbledon she will be having surgery on her injured left wrist.

Bad luck Laura.I hope the surgery goes well.

Indeed.Robson,20,last year became the first British woman to reach the round of 16 at Wimbledon since 1998,helping her to reach a career high of no 27 in the world rankings.

Just looking at the players list for the up coming Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart which starts on April 21st - April 27th and noticed that Li Na isn't on the list.

Apparently Li Na has travelled to Munich,Germany for some medical tests on her left knee.Maybe that is the reason she isn't playing.Li Na was the r/u to Sharapova last year.
