I would like to present to you, two entirely different visions of the future of Australia, and therefore of the role Australia will play on the world stage, for better or for worse.

First I shall sketch my nation’s present trajectory, and then the future to which we in the LaRouche movement in Australia, the Citizens Electoral Council political party, are committed. And I’ll report on some of our exciting progress.

At present, Australia’s ruling layers are committed to the plans of the Anglo-American oligarchy – centred on the British Crown – for endless war, disguised as a so-called “war on terror.” They are deep into confronting China and Russia, even if that threatens a thermonuclear showdown in the near term. They share the agenda of imposing fascist police states to control the population. And all of this is set against the backdrop of the worst financial and economic collapse in history, and the decimation of the world’s population by old and new epidemics.

The British Crown has exploited Australia for its geostrategic goals, especially since our head of state, Queen Elizabeth II, personally sacked the elected, pro-development, pro-sovereignty Prime Minister Gough Whitlam in 1975. I’ll summarize three aspects of this:

  • Making Australia into a miniature City of London or Wall Street;
  • Australia’s role as what a recent prime minister called a “deputy sheriff”, for the Anglo-American war build-up in the Asia/Pacific region;
  • Serving as the original spawning ground for the now worldwide movement for mass genocide, which masquerades as “environmentalism”.

In 1995, an infamous position paper by Katherine West of Britain’s Royal Institute of International Affairs, or Chatham House, said that the British Commonwealth had to be the core of a new British Empire – “an informal financial empire”, as she put it. Within that, she called for building up Australia as a “bridgehead into Asia”. Accordingly, thousands of major British firms have set up their Asia/Pacific headquarters in Australia, while the city of Sydney has been turned into a major subsidiary of London and Wall Street. Each of our Big Four banks ranks among the world’s top 50 banks in size, and they dominate the country’s economy.

Fifty years ago, agriculture and manufacturing accounted for half of our gross national product; today, they are at less than 10%. Financial services have risen from 10% of GDP in 1980, to over 20% today.

The Big Four banks are largely owned by City of London and Wall Street interests. Our population is only 23.5 million, but the Australian dollar is the fifth most traded currency in the world. And we have the biggest mortgage debt bubble in the world, measured per capita, which is managed by the Big Four banks.

This year, Australia chairs the Group of 20. Prime Minister Tony Abbott and his London- and Wall Street-owned Finance Minister Joe Hockey have declared two priorities for adoption at the Brisbane G20 summit next month. The first is the Anglo-American policy of “bail-in” – confiscation of creditor and depositor funds to rescue bankrupt megabanks, as in the Cyprus model.

Their second G20 emphasis is the so-called Global Infrastructure Initiative (GII), which is actually nothing of the kind. Tony Abbott styles himself “the Infrastructure Prime Minister”, but his initiative is a sneaky counterproposal to the new Asian Infrastructure and Investment Bank (AIIB), led by China.

Abbott and Hockey have an extraordinary track record of privatizing and looting federal and state infrastructure on behalf of private financiers. While the AIIB plans to spend $50-$100 billion per year on new infrastructure projects, just initially, the Abbott/Hockey plan is to set up a Global Infrastructure Centre, solely to promote so-called Public Private Partnerships (or PPPs) – a program pioneered worldwide by Australia’s Macquarie Bank.

The PPP model is pushed by the IMF, the World Bank, the OECD and the Long Term Investors Club here in Europe (the latter, the LTIC, is also big in Australia). Their line is that since governments allegedly no longer have any money to build infrastructure, the private sector must do it. And whatever is built, or – much more often – acquired through privatization, is to be run on a “user pays” basis, exemplified by the high tolls on roads around Sydney that are operated by Macquarie Bank.

LaRouche’s science of physical economy teaches that infrastructure produces productivity, boosting the economy as a whole. Governments invest in it, for the public good. But for the PPP promoters, the entire reason for possessing infrastructure is to derive a money income stream from it.

Even an understated estimate from the Asian Development Bank, says that Asia needs $750 billion of infrastructure investment annually. But, as The Australian newspaper reported Oct. 9: “The Australian initiative would not invest in new projects and would instead focus on learning from joint ventures between governments and investors” – that is, PPPs – “how to make it faster and cheaper to raise funds” from the private sector.

The BRICS want to build nations, while Abbott and Hockey demand that the G20 adopt the Crown’s policy of looting them.

On the military side, Australia now serves as headquarters for U.S. President Obama’s infamous “Asia Pivot”, the British-directed plan for a military showdown with China. The U.S. and British military presence is expanding rapidly. (Slide 1)This map is from a 2012 issue of our New Citizen newspaper. The gold dots show the relentless Anglo-American military build-up in the Asia-Pacific, with upgrades of existing bases and the creation of new ones. (Slide 2)Here is what our own investigations discovered about the build-up of facilities within Australia. You need to see it up close for the detail, but it includes new and upgraded Navy bases, air bases, signals intelligence, and training grounds.

In the middle of the continent, circled in red because it’s being upgraded, is Pine Gap, the signals intelligence base that helps guide drones in the Middle East and is a crucial link in the American worldwide ballistic-missile defence system, to enable an Anglo-American first strike against China and Russia. Already during the Cold war, Pine Gap was so important in Anglo-American nuclear war planning, that Australia was a target for Soviet nuclear missiles.

Hardly any government leaders on Earth can have outdone Tony Abbott and Foreign Minister Julie Bishop, in their outrageous denunciations of Russia and President Vladimir Putin, as they have defended the Anglo-American provocations in Ukraine.

Regarding Australia’s service as the test tube for creation of the genocidal “environmentalist” movement, suffice it to say that Prince Philip personally, in 1971 to 1976, chaired the Australian Conservation Foundation – a branch of his World Wildlife Fund – and midwifed the creation of the first Green Party in the world, in the Australian state of Tasmania. It became a model for the establishment of the Green Party in Germany. (Slide 3)We published a special issue of the New Citizen to that subject, in 2011, which will soon be reissued as a pamphlet. It includes thorough documentation of how the Crown and its Privy Council created the modern environmentalist movement, out of the British Eugenics Society of the 1930s.

Now let’s shift to happier subjects: first, what we in the CEC in Australia have done to frustrate the enemy’s plans, and – alongside our associates in the Schiller Institute and the LaRouche movement globally, and now the BRICS – to defeat that enemy once and for all; and then word about the role Australia should play in this new, just world economic order.

I shall go in reverse order, through our fights against green fascism, the Asian Pivot, and the build-up of Australia as an Asian branch office of London and Wall Street.

Ever since the CEC opened our national office in Melbourne in October 1992, launching as a national political party, we have been in a direct, personal battle with the Australian lackeys of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, one of whom said way back then, that he feared that “The LaRouche movement will become the most disruptive political force ever seen on the Australian continent.” We have battled against the Crown’s policies, and in favour of a vision of what our nation could become, once freed from its current rulers and from the slavish ideology accepted by far too many Australians even today.

We issue the New Citizen approximately quarterly, usually in several hundred thousand copies, and produce mass-circulation pamphlets on special topics as needed .

(Slide 4) This New Citizen, “Carbon Trading is Hitler-Style Genocide,” came out shortly before the Copenhagen Climate Summit of 2009. Our prime minister at the time, Kevin Rudd, was a leader in the Crown’s international drive to made that meeting adopt radical cutbacks on carbon emissions, further wrecking the world economy. Initially, 60% of Australians believed that carbon emissions cause global warming. We put out 500,000 copies of this newspaper and mobilized our base. Within months, Rudd had been ousted by a revolt within his own party, on this very issue. Shocked Members of Parliament reported that they had been bombarded with over a million phone calls and emails on the matter.

(Slide 5) Let’s turn to the Asia Pivot, which Barack Obama announced in 2011, including a new U.S. base in the northern Australia port of Darwin, as part of the build-up against China. Aware that Obama was continuing the infamous call by Dick Cheney for a pax Americana, under which none would ever be allowed to challenge Anglo-American power again, we named the danger: the world was heading toward nuclear war. We issued 400,000 copies of this New Citizen, to show where the policy really came from. We blanketed every military base, think tank, government office, police station, university and every other key institution we could find.

Until then, almost no one else in Australia was warning about the growing nuclear war danger. Then came a big break, when former Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser, as well as a handful of academics, also started to raise the alarm. On Sept. 25, 2012, Fraser made a scathing speech against the Asian Pivot. He warned, “Any use of nuclear weapons between the United States and China would be a global humanitarian catastrophe, and any armed conflict between nuclear-armed powers risks nuclear escalation. So conflict – and provocation that might lead to it – must be prevented at all costs.”

As the war danger increased, at the end of 2012 we issued another New Citizen on the subject (Slide 6). It featured new warnings by Lyndon LaRouche and the continued outspokenness of former Prime Minister Fraser, who had now stated publicly that the march of U.S. BMD systems toward Russian borders was making war more likely. We put this issue out also in Chinese (Slide 7); almost 4 percent of our population, around 1 million people, are Chinese immigrants and their descendants.

(Slide 8) This year Malcolm Fraser released his book, Dangerous Allies. He wrote that Australia must finally establish its own, independent foreign policy, and stop being subservient to foreign powers – whether the British Empire, or a United States under an imperial outlook. He called for previously unthinkable measures for war-avoidance, like shutting down American access to Pine Gap. Such stunning proposals have helped to ignite a serious debate on security issues, in Australia.

Taking on Australia’s role as an outpost of the City of London and Wall Street, is our crucial mission, because it is the certainty of a near-term systemic global financial collapse that drives the confrontation policy against Russia and China. Therefore the LaRouche movement in Australia has waged a relentless fight for the past two years, against bail-in and in favour of Glass-Steagall banking separation.

(Slide 9) In June 2013, a small article appeared in the Australian Financial Review, titled “Shareholders, creditors must pay if banks fail: BIS”. Hardly any readers understood that Aesopian language for bail-in. We launched an emergency investigation of the plot to impose bail-in, which the government denied was even being considered.

(Slide 10) We published an expose based on our findings – half a million copies of this New Citizen – and escalated our campaign to subject the Big Four banks to Glass-Steagall. We organized a task force beyond anything we had ever done before, to contact every member of each of the 2500 local councils in Australia, along with influentials in many other fields, and call on them to sign on to our campaign for Glass-Steagall. Nearly 500 signed. We took out on a full-page ad on December 13 in the nation’s largest newspaper, The Australian, featuring those signatures and headlined “Don’t seize our bank accounts – Pass Glass-Steagall!”

(Slide 11) We then escalated with10 thousand copies of a pamphlet called “Glass-Steagall Now!” Our lobbying of the Parliament, from our Melbourne head office and by CEC members around the country, had such an impact that the chief organizer of bail-in, Treasurer Joe Hockey, was forced by a senior member of the Australian Senate to send his top aide to discuss Glass-Steagall and bail-in with two CEC Executive Committee members and a distinguished international visitor, who was our guest at the time!

In the meantime, Hockey in December 2013 had announced a so-called Financial System Inquiry, with the obvious agenda of further deregulating Australia’s banking system for the benefit of the Big Four. This FSI received 280 submissions from the public during a first round of hearings, but after our mobilization, an unprecedented 5000 submissions poured in for the second round. Among them was a blunt statement by former Prime Minister Fraser, saying that Australia should reject “bail-in” and “instead … fully separate retail banking from the speculative activities of investment banks, which the Glass-Steagall law did in the United States so successfully from 1933 until its repeal in 1999.”

(Slide 12) During two decades, the CEC has written and campaigned for positive proposals on reviving our nation’s physical economy, inspired by the ideas of Lyndon LaRouche. Our program for national recovery is anchored by great infrastructure projects, like the Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme. Built between 1948 and 1974, it was named by the American Society of Engineers as “one of the seven engineering wonders of the modern world.”

Our friend and a veteran of the Snowy Scheme, the late Prof. Lance Endersbee helped us draft several programs: one for 18 great water projects to transform Australia, which has the world’s second largest desert after the Sahara, into a land of oases. (Slide 13) We have a nuclear power program, as Australia has the world’s largest reserves of uranium and second largest of thorium. Our plans include further development of high-speed shipping, where we are already a world leader; (Slide 14) a high-speed rail network to unite our vast continent; redevelopment of our formerly world-class machine-tool sector, including so we can export capital goods to Asia; and a program to send Australians into space. Australia already has one of the greatest food-production potentials in the world. (Slide 15) Professor Endersbee’s high-speed Australian Ring Rail program, together with high-speed shipping, be able to deliver Australian agricultural projects or machine-tools to any major port in Asia, in one to four days.

Finally, I would like to say that, like all thinking Australians, I was greatly moved by the landing of China’s Jade Rabbit rover on the Moon and the success of India’s Mars Orbiter Mission. Though we have largely abandoned our space program, Australia was one of the first nations in the world to be involved in space technology, and two Australians have flown in space, through the American space program.

Despite British oppression and frequent sabotage, optimism and a spirit of exploration run throughout the history of Australia. This is reflected in the history of our own organization, which grew out of two sources. One was the efforts of our National Secretary Craig Isherwood and his wife Noelene in organizing a rural political movement in the late 1980s. The second impetus was the CEC’s meeting the American LaRouche organization. And that happened because Australia had the highest level of Fusion magazine subscriptions per capita, of any country in the world except possibly the United States. Australians are great travellers. Throughout the 1980s they had signed up as members of the Fusion Energy Foundation at airports all over the world. By the end of that decade, our future American colleagues said to themselves, “How come all these Aussies are so optimistic? We had better go find out.”

So, here we are again, with fusion power on the agenda once more. With the BRICS developments of 2014, we are determined to lead Australia to its rightful place in a truly human new world economic order.

Australia already has strong trade ties with China. It has no need to join BRICS. As regards any cultural ties - they are with Anglo nations like the UK, Canada, US, NZ. That isn't going to change any time soon.

quite true about cultural ties - that is after all why the ''nation'' australia EXISTS - doesn't it. a COLONY turned into a nation.

the question remains. join BRICS - or whatever else integrated colllections arise or continue to obey the 'five eyes'' dogma that has brought RUIN upon countries to which alternative arrangements are already being built -- and constructing things - outside of which NO five eyes countries would last economically in the positions they are in?

new zealand is going to become some TOP five in the world or even top 10 ? canada? (i know canada pretty well now - am actually visiting and observing very closely what it is -- a HUGE place of nothing but low-wage factories -- i am veyr, very surprised with a housing price bubble exactly the way it was in the USA - and folks here are just as DELUSIONAL it can go on,. ) - the UK? goodness sakes -- my home country , third world philippines just bought majority stakes inone of UK's top technology/engineering companies...

australia? as the chinese made it quite clear -- ''australia is a very good partner - we have good relations and would like to maintain it - however - our economic commitment to australia is less than 1 percent and is certainly not the basis of our priorities"....

a former aussie prime minister - was it Rudd or someone older -- "frankly we can not depend on either the EU or america-- they just don't have the MONEY to consume the amount of produce we make to sustain our economy -- in truth - few will tell you but our entire social welfare system is basically being funded by china..without that trade and ties -- we WILL collapse"-- and there goes those ''cultural ties".

so -- question of the article remains.

as i said a long , long time ago - even here - AUSTRALIA WILL ONE DAY BE FORCED TO CHOOSE -- regardless of cultural ties -- an ASIA-PACIFIC country in FULL or a LACKEY of the united states of america?

that's all.

IMO -- UK - canada, australia, NZ -- should DETACH politically from the USA. that's it. LEAVE that bastard...and join the REST of the world as mutual partners. you'll see how good it will be for these nations and others they partner with.

give you an example:

right now-- i already know- both from direct reports of regular travelers - and my own assiduous checking up -- the philippines is VERY swiftly developing -- and in many things - the RIGHT direction - paying attention to long-neglected matters: infrastructure to enhance good development...strict attention (generally always been , but for the recalcitrant honchos and corrupt people) -- on environmental sustainability , etc..
balance between business and labor, etc. etc. etc..nevermind all that for the moment ..they are always a work in progress -- but the future looks GOOD if things are followed in the general path --

anyway -- how SWIFT? the very rich big southern island of mindanao - where i come from -- i can not even recognize towns now -- as they have become more ''up to date'' - heck -- even the most remote farmer has a cell-phone or something -- anyway...because of that upcoming development --

these are countries that have leaders, chambers of commerce, leaders - quietly for now -- but over a period now since last year -- checking in with duterte who likes to go home to the south -- davao -- as often as he can as part of his countrywide check up on projects anyway....he's like that -- endless checking if this bridge project from 20 years ago is proceeding, this long-neglected access roads projects to villages and farmers is finished -- whether the local officials are cleaning up their act and not dragging their feet with paper work - be it for business applications or farmers asking for permits to plant on a neighboring hectare...whether this clinic or that hospital is getting the funding as instructed...whether the health care of this and that sector is attended to - whether the elementary schools there are being improved -- that kind of thing...

but among the schedules are discussing other matters -- one of them -- to have the southern island - with its DEEP amazing harbors -- considered by the US Republican Senator Richard Black (A marine vet) - as ''hands-down the BEST harbors in the whole world - that entire archipelago " --

as a conduit to cut costs and time - hence better for food products especially -- between the pacific and africa'middle east europe..what does this mean?

HARBORS to be built -- with participation by indonesia, vietnam, china, russia, , singapore - basically the ASEAN nations PLUS china, russia, and the middle east countries (who 2 weeks ago received duterte like he is some potentate - lol though one of his intent was to bring up with them the issue of filipino overseas workers being abused there -- and so that's VERY certain EVEN the ''royals"' have to show some improvement as he openly requested it there - apart of course from trade , oil, matters, investments and for sure he telling them -- their wahhab terrorists are NOT going to be tolerated in the ALSO MUSLIM philippines) ...

so my point is this -- DOES AUSTRALIA want to continue to side with its ''cultural tie " MASTER the USA -- and LOSE OUT on that ENGINEERING project of the silk roads, land and maritime -- that china is spearheading -- which ALSO is becoming more and more highly integrated with RUSSIA'S ''eurasian integration from lisbon to manila?"

the point is -- it will take time -- but the DAYS OF AMERICAN IMPERIUM in the EURASIAN AND EVEN AFRICAN landmass is SO over.

it is ONLY a matter of time.

and THAT is what -the choice is for australia and all nations -- if they wish to have good relations and BENEFIT FROM -- with eurasia..

which -- as the early 20th British geopolitical theorist HAROLD MACKINDER said:

"THE area where the richest collection of human wealth - natural wealth and the center of the world IS EURASIA"

|""WHO rules europe -- rules the heartland (russia/china)
''who rules the heartland -- rules the World Island (eurasia)
''who rules the world island -- rules the world".

WHERE does australia want to be?

i'd add -- that just today/yesterday -- indonesia -- its leader WIDODO - after the ASEAN conference in manila the other day - (which had the observer participation of both chinese and russian and middle eastern reps even as non-ASEAN -- clearly this had to be duterte's idea) -

was down in the southern capital -- duterte's now-thriving and 'return from death'' davao city - and there announced the creation of projects to link maritimely with new or expanded facilities and harbors and infrastructure - shipping included of course - -- a shortening of the maritime 'silk road' -

it is led of course by the ASEAN countries --but china - was invited to arrive with HER NAVY ships to dock as part of the ''common regional security against terrorism and piracy and FOREIGN POWERS interdiction"....

in THIS arrangement that has gradually surfaced over the past months is also RUSSIA..actually was invited by duterte to join with china and philippines..

Russia and China aren't aligned politically. They sometimes work together on areas of mutual interest. There is no single Asiatic block that is going to "rule the world"... and there never has been. China, not Russia will become the dominant power before the century is out... some of which will benefit Russia as it they will be a key trading partner because of the huge swathe of natural resources that Russia sit on.

no one imagines russia and china are ''aligned politically'' -- that has little to do with the facts that they have mutual interests that are aligned. -- ABOVE ALL -- both in their statements and borne by action and construction -- their respective sovereignty and that they share ONE thing in common : they are TARGETS of the anglo-american led ''western empire''.

if you or any of us NOT of those countries have other ideas that that is NOT so -- all one has to do is look at the MAP and where the regional ''conflicts'' are -- and what their TRUE end-aim is. the russians - from vladimir to xi jinping - (who are the LEAST hawkish of their leaderships , for one thing) -- have at the very least made THAT very , very known as something that is the TOP of their COMMON SHARED policies and positions.

that IS the reason there is such a thing as russia's Eurasian Economic Union - comprising the former soviet countries who have cultural and historical ties with russia , is increasingly aligned with the Chinese-authored ''New Silk Road" whose other purpose besides the obvious - constructing a global trade system - is to AVOID and contrast with the angl0-american led ''global order"...complete with their already long-standing military coordination. or maybe you didn't think about THAT?

The point here is -- the russians are not stupid - nor the chinese -- they know what they need and want from each other - and these are matters that have gone far beyond any western notions of global ''order'' understands.

there is a reason why - in the depth of the sanctions when they began, the attack on the ruble and oil price schemed by washington and london to - as obama put it - render ''Russia's economy in tatters" (NOT! lol) - which was literally an act of war - china openly declared :

"at this period -- russia is experiencing great pressure from certain western countries and their allies....it is understood that it is intended to weaken russia - and ultimately also china . for self-interest - china must be vigilant and do what is in china's ability to ensure that this period of great challenge also passes into history. but beyond self-interest -- it is at this period of great outside pressure on russia that china must stand with russia in any way china is able to . china must ensure to help provide an economic and financial floor under russia so that - SHOULD RUSSIA REQUEST IT -- china can make available to our friend and neighbor china's economic and financial and material assistance....this is if Russia feels the need and requests for it.

''russia and china have gone through periods of extreme challenges from certain western and other outside powers - it is china and russia that have borne the greatest weight of the war by the fascist powers and it is our countries that won after losing so much ...our fates and history are written in BLOOD..."

"this period of challenge on russia - shall also pass -- but by showing russia that when sanctions and attempts to isolate her in order to destabilize the country exerts great pressure -- the people of russia will remember once and for all that China stood by them -- just as russia stood by us and came to our aid to defeat the fascist occupation in our country....

''and the people of russia will remember that the people of china are their friend and trusted partner ..
"without a stable and prosperous russia -- there can be no stable and prosperous china....
"our relation is far beyond mere geostrategic interests - real as they are -- they are the relation of two peoples who share a history defending against those who do not respect sovereignty of nations , their particular historical, cultural, and geographic conditions, challenges and solutions unique to them - their independence and insist upon imposing their values and rules on every region..

''''what western writers consider as a marriage of convenience does not take into account the fact that both russia and china have long shared histories - a defense against foreign interference in their affairs and their regions ..

"the friendship and partnership between russia and china are not only inevitable - - it is both natural and permanent".

as for actual facts:
how about a few:

the economic relation between the two - is to the amount over 10 years of 1 TRILLION dollars in direct exchange, trade, cross-investment .
it comprises equal parts development of technology (including the creation of respective ''high-tech campuses" in their territories -)
annual (already over 10 years long) military exercises in each territory (often involving hundreds or thousands of personnel from each country with the other hosting - that means basically TWICE a year) -

a thriving tourism industry between the two -- russian and chinese as the ''required'' second language in the state universities - plenty of cultural exchange programs - \
the russian ''SWIFT alternative'' as response to the actions of the west in blocking payments - aligning it this very year (in fact already started) - with CHINA'S already gigantic payment alternative system....
the construction of the Shanghai GOLD reserves exchange with russia as the TOP foreign partner..as BOTH are gorging on gold production and buying as preparation for when they more fully ditch the US dollar....

the AIIB -- ASIAN INVESTMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE BANK - another gigantic counterpart to BRICS bank - which obama and usa tried to block by telling countries NOT to join -- except UK broke the damn and was first in europe to request for inclusion as a founding member ...and the dam broke - switzerland , germany, austria, blah, blah -- all making for a bee-line to join....

and YET of all these - with ALL that supposed investment or seed money they were going to contribute (amounting to the other half - with china producing form its finance ministry the OTHER half) - what did china do?

WITH Russia joining at the day before 'closing' for inclusion (ASEAN nations and Middle eastern nations of course jumped in from the beginning) - CHINA declared in beijing - SINCE IT is the author and sets the ground rules of participation -- RUSSIA as belonging to the INNERMOST circle of makers of rules...

in other words russia enjoys the status of BOTH main rules-maker as china - with india given the power to chairman in the first of alternating chairs - but at the same time also a recipient of development funds from that bank -- and why?

CHINA simply declared Russia "'is not an honorary asian/pacific nation as traditionally said - russia IS a fellow ASIAN'/PACIFIC country".

the RED star as part of russia's history and legacy - regardless of what russia is today after the USSR -- represents - at the very least -- a continuing intellectual and philosophical melding between the two cultures - with china ''officially'' a communist ruled country - russia is STILL - even among russians -- finding a ''POLITICAL IDEOLOGY" -- as many of them say...

meanwhile -- PUTIN and even more than him -- those that are called the ''SOVEREIGNISTS -- ORIENTALISTS" -- called the STOLYPIN GROUP - who are intellectual descendants - like putin and many around him - of the former prime minister and first president before putin of the 'post-USSR russia" -- YEVGENY PRIMAKOV - who was putin's OWN mentor before the old man tragically died --

this is all PART and even PRECEDING the recent so-called ''CHINA , EAST PIVOT due to sanctions".

in reality -- the EASTERN pivot had been going on for DECADES now - it is only that that sanctions from the west simply accelerated it and made it FIRM once and for all -- once the russians had proven to themselves that BEND OVER BACKWARDS - and try to be friendly with europe as they tried -- ""the USA, west, will NEVER see us russians as their equals and they will NEVER give up trying to conquer as all the others have before them --be it the poles, swedes, british, americans, french, napoleon, hitler..."...

THEREFORE they have realized or -- as some say -- ACCEPTED the fact-- RUSSIA will from now on entwine itself with china ...and the ORIENT -- thus the intellectual precursor PRIMAKOV'S original ideas since at least 3 decades ago -- to show the russians "our fate is with the EAST that is where we truly belong". is NOW coming to fruition.

so -- cynical or skeptical as some might prefer to look at it -- IT'S DONE ,.

EURASIA - BE IT CHINA OR RUSSIA that 'are the 'leading economic power'' -- is now simply awakened -- both the russian bear and the chinese dragon...and THEY understand each other - what their needs and wants are -- and FROM WHICH countries MUCH of their troubles come...and it ISN'T from each other.

you can BET on that.

if THAT is all there is to their relations -- so be it-- but that IS a far, far healthier one, not least for the rest of the world itself.

you don't know that russians go to china for retirement ? if they want a longer warmer clime? and the chinese are accommodating with the appropriate actions to cater to russian needs...there are regions along their border -- such one called MANZHOULI where russians and chinese move back and forth like it's ordinary - with industries from both countries sprouting - creating jobs, etc...they call it "MANZHOULI -- WHERE RUSSIA AND CHINA CONVERGE".

plenty of chinese and russians cross the borders to get married to their ''other counterparts" -- that's an increasingly growing fact of LIFE between the countries....(on a side note -- this is the same with RUSSIAN/KOREAN (both south and north koreans) ) ..it's more in depth than YOU think.

but never mind even that -- the fact is -- whatever their relation is-- both russia and china are CLEAR on one thing they share - they have borned the brunt of the fascist global war - instigated or inspired by the WESTERN powers - AS PART of the attempt for centuries - leading up to the 21st as it is -- to encircle, invade , conquer , destabilize and rule over china and russia just like they do everywhere in the world...

AND CHINA AND RUSSIA -- KNOW they need each other -- and are STRONGER together than separate. MUCH AS TRUMP TRIES to tell ''the world" that ''china is now seeing our way on how to deal with n korea -- NOT!!) -- with KISSINGER'S version advice of ''divide and rule" (typical of western imperialists in their behavior everywhere rather than being constructive withmutual respect for countries) - ..

much as he tries - in his version -- the SAME OLD GAME of western divide and rule -- and defining for the world WHAT russia is, WHAT china is, HOW their relation is about (like you just did) -

it ain't gonna happen.

RUSSIA AND CHINA ARE ASIA - THEY ARE EURASIA. and they WILL continue to lead a multilateral world - away from the anglo-american ''unipolarity" that has brought RUIN to country after country after the ILLUSION of freedom and democracy .

so -- once more -- the CHOICE for australia -- as in this thread and article's theme -- or as i have said long ago - NO ONE forced that question on australia -- it is simply a question they have to answer because of what THEIR OWN FIVE EYES AND UNILATERAL AMERICA have done in this world that brought it their 'FOOT SOLDIERS" otherwise called TERRORISTS to destabilize countries they target for ''reshaping" -- which is no visiting europe vassals themselves...

once more that question comes -- AUSTRALIA -- choose.

INCIDENTALLY -- no country on earth will matche china's economic size - that's just a function in part of the sheer size of her market - that's 1.5 billion producers, and consumers. MARKET.

SO it is not a mystery that russia - or any country is going to be dwarfed in that economic size - but that's HARDLY the point - the point is china is using HER enormous economic power to actually CONSTRUCT a global economic reality as an alternative to the endless EXPLOITATIVE system run by the USA and the west - whose RESULTS are ''rich private finance industry -- everyone else gets a pittance" or literally DESTROYED as countries.

but taking russia only -- it is - based on the very ''slow growth'' DESPITE the sanctions and attempts by the USA and company to encircle and destabilize (they just staged another western - or former russian oligarch kicked out by putin funded - ''revolution" -- ''calling for putin not to run for president again" -- say what? lol) --

it is projected by just about any PROPER assessor - ZEROHEDGE, etc...to become ''EUROPE'S'' LARGEST economy by 2025. SURPASSING the ''great engine of europe" germany.

NOT a bad thing at all.

so - the russians can wait patiently - keep their borders on guard from the wanna-be-NEW NAPOLEONS, ADOLF AND UNCLE SAM rulers of NATO -- pretending to be ''threatened by russia" when in FACT THEY are the ones continuing the OLD - CENTURIES OLD european attempts to TAKE russian territory and resources - lol ...

they can wait patiently until EUROPE comes to ITS senses.

SAME IN THE ASIA - PACIFIC REGION where BOTH russia and china are -- they can wait UNTIL AUSTRALIA comes to ITS senses and sees where ITS future prosperity and peace COMES - AND IT ISN'T with the USA. that is for sure!

ROFLMAO.

as a side note:

RUSSIA AND CHINA - came up with a gigantic project -- with russia hosting in SAKHALIN last october -- and also inviting countries and representatives to new facilities starting in the north-far east russian ''PRIMORYE" peninsula -- a huge , huge section by itself - with rich natural wonders...

a gigantic tourism and related industries project that will comprise these countries and their businesses:

Japan, south and north korea, china, ALL ASEAN countries -- and are inviting AUSTRALIA to join new zealand which has jumped in --

all the works -- enormous new cruise ships -- and create a massive new tourist mecca with harbors galore, etc. etc. etc...

WHERE in there is the USA? NOT NEEDED. who are ALIGNED -- ? it's the asians - which include russia and china.

AMBASSADOR IGOR KOVAEV of russia to MANILA -- in numerous public interviews since january when the russians docked for a week in manila (the second visit came 3 weeks ago) --

"yes -- we are by the map a distance away -- but in truth we ARE really neighbors in the same region of asia-pacific and should do everything - as we are doing with china and other ASEAN countries -- to get to know each other for deeper friendly relations in ALL areas...our peoples have lost so much time and opportunity for this and we need to correct this ".

WHAT AM I REALLY saying with all that? simple

the WESTERN -- primarily anglo-american led 'unipolar world" and particular the attempt and ambition since HAROLD MACKINDER carried on obsessively by the likes of KISSINGER, BRZEZINSKI, OBAMA, CLINTON, EVEN TRUMP STILL (trying to make ''america great again" -- IN WHAT? actual constructive way and peace? one might ask? lol) --

is sooooooooooooooo over -- and THat INCLUDES notions about how countries should relate to each other.

the question to the west and its adherents or apologists is this :

WAKE UP in time and adjust graciously -- OR BE WRITTEN OUT of deals, it is THAT simple.

HECK -- even relatively small countries or economies like HUNGARY -- sick and tired of the american-led ''unipolarity" are finding their way opening embassies in the philippines like they did last month -- ''WITH highest priority to stand for NON-INTERFERENCE in the internal affairs of sovereign countries" -- -

OR a small country like SERBIA having its people gradually finding their way to the philippines or thailand -- and WHY?

the answer is in the wind.....and most everyone - especially in asia and eurasia in the orient KNOW - it's only the west that is going around in its ''waking delusion" of ''global leadership" that NO ONE REALLY WANTS.

for one thing -- i am GLAD that there is 'asiatic block to rule the world" i don't like it .

but that is NOT the point -- the asian countries - where the majority of cultures, peoples, oldest continuous histories and relations - are comprised and signify the most enormous collection of WEALTH in the entire planet -- WILL 'rule'' nonetheless for no other reason than THAT fact. they do not have the SAME notions as that by the angl0-american imperium of ''global leadership'' -- AREN'T interested and simply wish to go on as they have for thosuands of years - trade, work, travel, bring good, buy goods, give and take and make deals and bargains ...and are NOT interested - never have been in ''shaping the world into our values" as certain self-proclaimed ''leaders of the planet" insist about themselves..abrogating to themselves

what ''international'' means -- meaning 'our way or the highway" -- and 'if you don't bend the knee -- why -- we'll just send our CANNONS AND BOMBS on you -- or send you OPIUM or COLOR revolution you OR TELL the world that you're hitler and a threat to the world order...OURS of course.... - or sanction you or block you and tell others NOT to do business with you or we'll blockTHEM too".

sounds familiar? of course -- and it ISN'T asian whatsoever.

so -- it keeps coming back to that first question -- australia -- wither goest thou? for if you SERVE as an 'advance or front' for your MASTER washington -- aint' gonna work with the rest of asia -- from east to west, north to south..YOU don't have the resources or geopolitical or economic or market standing and potential to demand anything FOR your UNCLE SAME from the orientals. who aren't interested in being RULED by the likes of uncle sam. they -- the asians GOT GOLD - real gold -- THEY can build whatever the hell gigantic cities they want -- withotu permission from uncle sam or his BANKS be they in london, brussels or riyadh or wall street....they - such as IRAN-RUSSIA are even about to start building a gargantuan BIG SHIPS canal all the way from teh CASPIAN SEA in central asia linking russia, china, kazakhstan etc -- and all their treasures with the indian and west african oceans through the coasts of IRAN and out to the china sea and to africa...WHO NEEDS the FIVE EYES for that? or europe for that matter?

you want IN or OUT? choose,.

lol.
