There was once a businessman who was sitting by the beach in a small Brazilian village.

As he sat, he saw a Brazilian fisherman rowing a small boat towards the shore having caught quite few big fish.

The businessman was impressed and asked the fisherman, "How long does it take you to catch so many fish?"

The fisherman replied, "Oh, just a short while"

"Then why don't you stay longer at sea and catch even more?" The businessman was astonished.

"his is enough to feed my whole family," the fisherman said.

The businessman then asked, "So, what do you do for the rest of the day?"

The fisherman replied, "Well, I usually wake up early in the morning, go out to sea and catch a few fish, then go back and play with my kids. In the afternoon, I take a nap with my wife, and evening comes, I join my buddies in the village for a drink, we play guitar, sing and dance throughout the night."

The businessman offered a suggestion to the fisherman.

"I am a PhD in business management. I could help you to become a more successful person. From now on, you should spend more time at sea and try to catch as many fish as possible. When you have saved enough money, you could buy a bigger boat and catch even more fish. Soon you will be able to afford to buy more boats, set up your own company, your own production plant for canned food and distribution network. By then, you will have moved out of this village and to Sao Paulo, where you can set up HQ to manage your other branches."

The fisherman continues, "And after that?"

The businessman laughs heartily, "After that, you can live like a king in your own house, and when the time is right, you can go public and float your shares in the Stock Exchange, and you will be rich."

The fisherman asks, "And after that?"

The businessman says, "After that, you can finally retire, you can move to a house by the fishing village, wake up early in the morning, catch a few fish, then return home to play with kids, have a nice afternoon nap with your wife, and when evening comes, you can join your buddies for a drink, play the guitar, sing and dance throughout the night!"

The fisherman was puzzled, "Isn't that what I am doing now?"

This was great! I loved it. My son and I talk about this all the time and the narrow mindset that many have adopted when the word "success" is defined. It's amazes me how people often only include materialism and wealth as barometers for success instead of contentment. Love this.

A Man and his son were once going with their Donkey to market.

As they were walking along by its side a countryman passed them and said: "You fools, what is a Donkey for but to ride upon?"

So the Man put the Boy on the Donkey and they went on their way.

But soon they passed a group of men, one of whom said: "See that lazy youngster, he lets his father walk while he rides."

So the Man ordered his Boy to get off, and got on himself.

But they hadn't gone far when they passed two women, one of whom said to the other: "Shame on that lazy lout to let his poor little son trudge along."

Well, the Man didn't know what to do, but at last he took his Boy up before him on the Donkey.

By this time they had come to the town, and the passers-by began to jeer and point at them.

The Man stopped and asked what they were scoffing at.

The men said: "Aren't you ashamed of yourself for overloading that poor donkey of yours and your hulking son?"

The Man and Boy got off and tried to think what to do.

They thought and they thought, till at last they cut down a pole, tied the donkey's feet to it, and raised the pole and the donkey to their shoulders.

They went along amid the laughter of all who met them till they came to Market Bridge, when the Donkey, getting one of his feet loose, kicked out and caused the Boy to drop his end of the pole.

In the struggle the Donkey fell over the bridge, and his fore-feet being tied together he was drowned.

"That will teach you," said an old man who had followed them: "Try and please everybody, and you will please nobody"

Here's a children's story of my own with cute pictures, some background info about the main characters: Beardy is an illegal border crosser who incited mobs to break fences and throw stones at the police at the border, he got 10 years of jail for it, Bogus is a Soros puppet helping Beardy, ButtBerryHill is a PC clown. I rushed the story part a bit cause i was going to work but hope you'll enjoy :D

aTRGD5a.jpg

Bogus, Beardy and the Fence

Bogus the rodent was putting cookies on the plate for his friend Beardy the goblin. Suddenly there came a big boom from the kitchen, Bogus almost sharted himself in surprise. He ran to the kitchen: „Omg Beardy what have you done?” Beardy: „I’m making booming coctail against the wild piggies at the fence, i gotta get through that fence soon, other goblins are waiting for me, together we’ll kill all with big boom boom”. Bogus was holding his head „But look what you have done, also, now your booming coctail is gone, and what if the bau-baus sniff the booming powder on your beard? Throw some stones instead”

In that moment ButtBerryHill, Bogus’ little puppy ran into the kitchen, and without any hesitation made a cute little hill of doggy poo at Beardy’s foot. Bogus scolded her: „Bad little doggy, told you not to poo in the kitchen, but good you’re here, go with Beardy to the fence and take care of him”

At the fence, Beardy: „Let us in, we’ve got old and ill” Piggy boss: „Beardy goblin, your beard smells of booming powder, your pals have ugly masks on and you bunch look like a gang of scary spooks, are you sure you didn’t bring the old for human shield?” Beardy goblin: „Screw you pig!” and starts throwing stones. ButtBerryHill is snarling in blood-thirsty way, from time to time lifting her little leg and releasing smelly doggy farts to counter the piggies’ teargas. After a while big shout from Beardy: „ We’re out of stones” ButtBerryHill runs to Beardy and supplies him with a hill of stinky ammunition. Beardy: „Great, let’s give it to the pigs boys!!!” First the piggies were sniffing ard trying to figure out what new kind of warfare they’re dealing with but when the stench got unbearable they just stormed the naughty goblins and grabbed Beardy, put him in chains and carried him to jail.

From the next part: Beardy gets 10 years in jail but the fake-liberal rodents, led by Bogus, manage to get him out through a series of „Goblins need love too” and „Don’t demonize goblins” protests, and their new mischiefs begin.

Some moments from our heros' lives: Bogus is not happy Trump got elected:

But no worries, the adventures of Bogus and Beardy don't end here, in the next episode Merkel's gonna resurrect them with ancient jewish magic and they're gonna cook up new mischiefs :D

A bit more bloodthirsty than Aesop. What's Soros profile like in your neck of the woods?
Well, if you ask the average citizen here probably he'll say "Orbán went to Oxford on Soros's money". What i know is that his scholarships benefited the already privileged circles. Like Orbán and his buddies, mine owners, rich jewish kids. Some call these people "Soros agents" The most famous are: Orbán Viktor, Szájer József, Németh Zsolt, Schmidt Mária, Deutsch Tamás and Kovács zoltán. Schmidt Mária for example is the director of the House of Terror, an institution where the history of the holocaust and the communist terror is preserved. She got the scholarship from Soros to study the XX. century history of Hungarian jews.

So most people think that the philantropy of Soros is limited to the elite,

Now there's big fight about the CEU again. Here's a google translation about the crisis (there was an article in English on freehungarianpress.com but that's very short and one-sided, and it doesn't show what Orbán's real problem with the CEU is) so this text is ugly, i bold the important points:

"What does it mean that the government attacked the CEU?

Suddenly just two things happen.

The one that came out with a report on the functioning of foreign universities in Hungary, where it says that the CEU operates irregularly. The irregularity is that the CEU in 2016 has not been pre-registered 17 training, which took place at the university. These programs are not unknown, but as political science and business management. The gap was filled by CEU, has been submitted by a request to take them registered, the programs are currently under evaluation. This refers to the study, the government did not press articles.

The other is that the government has submitted a bill amending the law on higher education. In almost ellehetetlenítenék operation of the CEU.

Bilateral contract would be subject to the operation of the university. Hungary should or contract with the United States or the State of New York.
Requiring the university to establish a campus in New York State. It would be very expensive.
And would eliminate the possibility of foreign teachers to educate their employees at CEU without permission.

These conditions CEU could not work on the current form.
But why the CEU has gone to her by the government?

The Hungarian government is waging a war time Soros Györggyel. War is often one-sided, because the same serial firmly committed to liberal values and also firmly say that for harmful Fidesz in Hungary and Europe, the impact on Hungary debatable. The Hungarian government's war is more about the devil-sighted Hungarian voters turn.

The CEU university named Soros György.
But what does it mean, Soros brainwash the soldiers here?

It depends on what you want to think about brainwashing and Soros soldiers. The CEU values definitely open, tolerant and liberal. These values do not appear in the scientific research, but students can be involved in the CEU to do. stated aim of the university that is committed to Western values are students out there.
But then why did the university Soros?

1989 is below the major European regime changes at the idea of having to Eastern Europe is a modern, Western-style universities, in order to receive proper education in transition in Eastern Europe would-be leaders and engage them in the open with the idea of liberal Western society.
AD

If the university is not well, the Soros Foundation's why the party Fidesz came into contact with. Today's ruling party was then young, westernized, liberal party, which has helped the Soros Foundation. Orbán Viktor has also participated in the pre-CEU in Central Europe Research Team, but Laszlo Kover, Deutsch Tamás and learned a bunch of other leading Fidesz is Soros's money, even when the Communists were Communists. The CEU is still actively involved in training the elite, government spokesman Kovács Zoltán also studied here.
Get the CEU students from ELTE, Corvinus or to

The CEU is not as universally as the ELTE, Corvinus or. There is no basic training, only post-graduate education. Only intermittent Master or PhD degrees students can gain. In order for someone to get into the CEU to somewhere else he had to learn very well.
But what do we lose if it were not CEU?

The Central European University, Hungary is one of competitive products abroad. They come here in Central Europe for students to learn at CEU. Evaluation of the university is really good, masters programs, maybe this is currently the best Hungarian university.

And yes, the CEU is gendercourses more, but this is far from decisive. The gendercourses otherwise it does not have to imagine, as the government wants to make these economic and social science courses.

The CEU is actually a very good economic and political science at a university where many of the best and most talented Hungarian researchers have studied or taught.
So why not move out of the university?

Speaking of which. Orbán Viktor and Soros György last talked on the phone with the Hungarian Prime Minister promised that the university will not touch. He talked to the university moves to a neighboring country, but the news is still looking at buildings in Bonn as well. One aim of the government's point could be to move to the Central European University in Hungary, and is not involved in the education of the elite who might be hostile to Fidesz illiberal ethos.
And it is not understandable that Orbán does not want to educate the enemies in Budapest?

A democracy does not work that way. The CEU students are not enemies of Orbán Viktor, but no more than some people who think nothing about politics as prime minister. If you ban any idea which is different from our thoughts, it's called a dictatorship. It fits into a democracy that someone else thinks like us and arguing with him. The CEU operation is important because it provides not only high-quality university education, but also to provide an alternative to Fidesz's ethos. This alternative and many people have needs
."

So they're doing it cause for foreigners it's easier to teach here, also allegedly many Hungarian teachers were fired and they were working for half money to begin with, then the second reason is the training of Soros soldiers here, and the third is the gender-bending agenda. And ofc there are some minor reasons.

And ofc no one likes Soros for supporting the migratory movement of the muslims here either.....

BTW Orbán&co. are dicks too, many times when they are told they accepted Soros's money they say they will give it back to him if he asks for it but they don't give it back. They're filthy rich, if you're so much against Soros just give back the money lol. Don't know why the heck they don't do it to stop looking like a bunch of hypocrites..... Soros is another mug, he's blackmailing with taking his Uni to Bonn. tbh i wouldn't drop a tear if he did that, the average people will never see any good from it anyway.....

Update: They are talking about this on TV right now again: So there's a theory Orbán is doing this cause he wants to kiss up to Trump and he knows Trump hates Soros. So they came up with this new idea that the CEU would be able to operate here only if Trump allowed it to, but Trump doesn't have the power to sign something like this so there should be negotiations and stuff and Orbán wants to get close to Trump this way... One thing is sure, Orbán is a big Trump fan...

Horseland

Once upon a time there was a very old king who had a long, grey beard & moustache. He was called Harry. This king lived in a palace of pure crystal that sparkled & flashed in the sunlight like a great, big block of pure ice. The palace stood in a great, big garden & in this garden where all his people lived because he was such a nice king, there grew oranges, pears & wild cherry trees & tulips, roses & lilies-of-the-valley blossomed there & bright-coloured birds sang. All the birds in his Kingdom were bright-coloured & Pegasus lived there & there were unicorns & ponies, horses & donkeys in Horseland because he used to have a lovely wife called Angela who used to love horses but was turned into a fairy by an old witch who she defeated but could never regain her human appearance & all the other animals had turned into the ones Angela loved most. Pegasus is a winged horse. On nice, bright, sunny days Jack used to ride Pegasus over his palace & garden to admire the lovely view & visit a land a few miles away from him called Beachland where there were lots of lovely sandy beaches & he could paddle in the nice, cool, relaxing water which was that clean you could see the fish swim over your feet or lay on the nice, clean sand which was as white as snow & listen to the birds singing & go to sleep until it got too cold. In the palace gardens were lots of large fountains which sprayed right up to the top of the highest trees you can imagine & 1 of these fountains was a water fountain. There was also an orange juice & apple juice fountain as well as a cola & lemonade fountain. To cap it all, there was a milk fountain & a chocolate fountain. These fountains produced the nicest tasting drinks ever that just quenched your thirst then made you want more.

Harry had only 1 son who was heir to the Kingdom, a little boy aged 7. His name was Mark. He was a good boy & always went to bed early & got up early, he never did anything wrong. Mark had blonde hair & he could play any instrument you can name & he danced & acted well but couldn't sing very well. Every time Mark sung the ice shattered & the birds flew away except the peacock. He was very artistic & very clever indeed.

When Mark got to the age of 16, he went to the neighbouring country which was very similar to the 1 his father ruled but was full of all different kinds of dogs because he used to have a wife who was the wicked witch that Angela had defeated called Eve. Eve's land was under a spell that changed all the other animals into nice dogs until her daughter found a handsome prince to marry. If anyone was ever cruel to the dogs they got turned into dogs themselves. It was called Dogland. Dogland was ruled by a King very much like his father but he only had 1 daughter. This King was called Don. His daughter was called Dawn. Dawn was the same age as Mark but she had dark hair which was very curly. She made mistakes sometimes though & although she was very clever & could sing & act couldn't dance or play any musical instruments. The mistakes she made were due to her not being very good with her hands. She broke cups, saucers & plates every time she washed up. Every time she sung though everything she broke repaired itself. Now as soon as he 1st saw her he fell in love with her & she felt the same way. They both spoke to their parents who agreed to pay for their wedding.

He got married in a kilt suit & had pipers playing at the wedding. She wore a gold dress to the wedding. Her ring was encrusted with every single gem you could mention. They had a gold horse-drawn carriage to take them to the church where they married. The page boys wore formal suits & the brides-maids wore Amethyst coloured silk dresses. Everyone had the biggest party you could imagine afterwards & were so happy & both Kings built a new palace in between the Kingdoms. This palace was solid gold & they had beautiful children & lived happily ever after.

The end.
Very nice story Ann, Mark and Dawn complement each other, they will make nice music together because Mark can play the instruments and Dawn can sing well

Very nice ideas in the story, i want fountains like those too :D <3

I read some of your poems they are very nice too :good:

Do you live near horses? Do you have the opportunity to ride too???

I love horses too, we are a "horseback nation" so at primary school we went to a plain called "Hortobágy" every year and we were taught to ride the horse... They always have shows like these there for visitors:

TBH i prefer places with more mountains and valleys, we have a very good horseback archery school in a valley called the Kassai school, they are opening many school all over the world, like France, China, Canada, also they take in foreign students here in Hungary too...

This is a great training video:

BTW I usually post in the old school chat thread with my friends, Betty from Italy and Mimi from China, also there's BB from time to time although he's usually busy with tennis news and the site, then there's Teddy from the Philippines, if you feel like chitchatting or just spamming random stuff you like join us anytime :)

I've never had a chance to own or ride a horse.

That sounds cool. The only time we got taught about horses at school was in history when we learnt about how most of the world would have been at a standstill at 1 time without them & my G.C.S.E. field trip was about stage-coaching in Ferrybridge because we lived nearby & at 1 time it was a main stop off point because it was in the middle of 1 of the most popular trading routes in Britain which was from Edinburgh to London or vice versa. Thank you very much for the videos.

I prefer coastal, countryside & Lakeside views too but live in a town. Genealogically most of my ancestors originated from Dunoon in the Highlands of Scotland but moved to Durham during the struggles of Argyll then moved to Ferrybridge as a coachman when work was better there. I've been to the Highlands of Scotland lots of times & the Lake district a few times too.

Thank you very much for your information & invitation. I love books, music, poetry, history, all animals except snakes especially horses & ponies. I love sheepdogs too. :0)

I love music and poetry too :D <3 and all the arts.... At high school i read lots of British literature. Shakespeare is so cool, he totally has the same taste as me in everything, haha, love his dark humour, the occultism, the characters, laughed so much reading his stories

I loved horse riding a lot when i was a kid, it's very refreshing, not only for the body but also for the spirit, but haven't done it for years.... I've always wanted to do horseback archery too, my godson is a good archer but i never have time for it :lulz1:

Scotland is awesome, love its culture and history, lately i've been following British politics more than before, i'm curious how the Brexit will go and whether Scotland can get independent...

TBH I'm rooting for Scotland to get independent, because i think its culture is unique, i love Scottish sites like Bella Caledonia.... So i usually side with the Scottish nationalists on the net haha, but ofc it's easy to be "smart" for me from the outside, i know there are lots of subtleties that i don't understand about Scottish politics, however, i see many similarities between Scotland's and my country's history...

What kind of music do you like? I like all kinds, classical, pop, folk, metal, also love to play the guitar :D

I enjoyed studying Romeo & Juliet at school. I love Shakespeare's comedies & sonnets best.

I learnt normal archery in middle school.

I have always loved the sound of bagpipes. I love Scotland. I've been to Edinburgh Tattoo twice & lots of other Scottish places.

Scotland fought many wars with the English for independence in the past. In that way it would be good to see it gain independence. They didn't have enough police helicopters to stop the faulty 1 being used which would have prevented the Glaswegian pub crash as they only had 2 in the whole of Scotland. They haven't ruled themselves for centuries. There are lots of poor Scottish families who live in Scotland who couldn't afford passports to visit English relatives. We are entangled with each other. I would like to see Scotland becoming independent but don't think either or us are ready for it yet. I'd love to see the English start to get their act together so we can get everything on our side ready (as in a lot of our sub bases are in Scotland & our forces have merger) & the Scottish to be given more powers bit by bit until they're ready to rule themselves.

Brexit was different. Not everyone who backed Brexit was racist & stupid like a lot of people claimed. We voted out because we were fed up of paying so much a year & getting next to nothing back, paying the E.U. money that could have gone to parts of the U.K. that were struggling, having to pay so much money to other countries in needs when flood victims in places like York & the Lake District needed a hand, our farmers being told what they could grow & sell by the E.U. & our fishermen being told what to sell & when as well as not being able to deport foreign criminals when they posed a threat because the E.U. said we couldn't & foreigners being given jobs ahead of British workers not because they were better qualified, more experienced or worked harder but because companies knew some of them didn't know about national minimum wage so they were prepared to work for less. It wasn't allowed but I saw it happen with my own eyes. I'm not racist. I trained a Hungarian person. She was very good & later got put on displays. I've worked with Asians. Some of them are nicer than some of us. I've worked with Australians too. I had French, French teachers who were very good. They've started selling goods using old measurements. I've been busy learning them.

I've got eclectic musical tastes too. I like trad. Scots/Irish music, some pop, rock, folk, country & classical music. I sing. I'm trying to learn drums, tambourine, harmonica & accordion. I never got the chance to learn an instrument at school as I always passed voice test so had to sing in music class & join choir.

I never got the chance to learn an instrument at school as I always passed voice test so had to sing in music class & join choir.
wow, thanks for all that info....

My problem is that i don't know the depth of the entanglement, (i knew about the sub bases btw :D) however, there are many Scots on the net who are saying that they would like to try it alone...

There are lots of poor Scottish families who live in Scotland who couldn't afford passports to visit English relatives.

Now this is what really stinks, i've read about this a lot, from many Scots on the net too....... Something's really messed up when a country with exceptionally good natural resources has such poverty...

People working in agriculture are suffering a lot because of the EU here too, luckily we're are at a good place so many people just relocated their businesses to Ukraine, which is right next to us and there are no EU regulations :lulz1:But there are people ofc who couldn't afford to do that, they are cursing the EU nonstop...

I love being in the EU for lots of reasons though, i travel a lot abroad and it's much easier this way....

I googled the Edinburgh Tattoo, it must be a great show!!!

Being in a choir must be awesome too, it's a bit like being in a band :dance3:

You're welcome. I'm very sorry if I sounded heated. When I 1st made my decision about what I thought I had more information which I've now forgot because I'm sick of the hatred of people who pick on people who don't agree with them so I have kept my thoughts to myself & occupied my mind with other more interesting, useful or nicer things. The thing is the Scots who want to try it alone wouldn't be independent because they are also wanting to stay in the E.U. which have a lot of rules & they have to pay for that but they don't have to pay to be in the U.K. They get free prescriptions & university places which we don't get unless we meet a certain criteria. Do you know we can't fly our national flag because the E.U. said we can't? Therefore Scotland would keep its culture better if it either stayed in the U.K. or came out of both the U.K. & E.U. Some working people in the whole of U.K. have to rely on foodbanks & some pensioners have to choose whether to feed themselves or keep themselves warm. The E.U. is good for cheap foreign travel & duty-free cigarettes, tobacco, alcohol & perfume. I went on a couple of courses funded by the E.U. 1 helped me find a job as it was a training scheme when I left school. It gave me training & an extra qualification. The other course just got me out when I was feeling down & had to leave my job because of bullying & harassment in the workplace. Sometimes it helped a lot & other times it didn't. They trained me how to be a trainer but all I did was invigilate exams. They also got me thinking about doing something different to what I'd been trained for & experienced in. Their suggestions suited me better than my original choices.

The Edinburgh Tattoo is fantastic, especially if you see it live.

It is good to be in a choir. It's like the vocal equivalent of an orchestra.

no no, it's good if you tell more, this topic interests me a lot, and by the way some of my friends said the same, that the Scots would have more "independence" as parts of the UK than as parts of the EU, Britbox said this too....

However, from some people who live in Scotland i heard other things , that they couldn't even have their own news program for a long time, and that they got in only now, in the brexit crisis and they saw it as some kind of bribery and things like that......

Well, time will tell whether Brexit will be a success or not, i'm very curious....

Anyway, i surely won't "quarrel" about politics with friends even if their opinion is different from mine :)

Do you post on other forums, like literature, etc.. ones too or in the social media? And have you published the poems in physical form? or do you have it among your plans?

and another question: Do you have summer holiday(s) planned somewhere?

Haha btw i'm just curious but ofc if you don't like some of my questions just ignore them ....

I have lots of music written for example but don't have a band, sometimes i'm thinking of releasing it as a one man band :D but ofc i have lots of other things to do so i'm delaying it all the time......

I don't have any big summer holiday planned, just some short trips.

I think the reason why some Scots want out of the U.K. because politicians didn't stick to what they said they were going to do before the independence referendum. I also think they're throwing their Teddy out of the pram because the votes didn't go their way like what is happening with Brexit & indeed the election in America. Before the Brexit referendum we got 6 pieces of information about staying in the E.U. & 1 about leaving in the post which told me they were trying to brainwash us into voting the way they wanted. I won't be brainwashed by anyone.

The Scots do have their own news programmes. I've been on holiday there lots of times. All their programmes were different. They're more-or-less able to be themselves as they have been able to since Victorian times especially since they were given a Scottish parliament.

Brexit will be a success once our factories are built back up again since we ditched them because we joined the E.U. & our farmers can sell British apples, pears & onions again. It will take a long time because we gave so much away to be in the E.U. We haven't always had factories though. We have to start from scratch like we did in Victorian times. The only differences are we have up-to-date machinery & a welfare state which the Victorians didn't. We need to pull together instead of people who voted the other way throwing their teddies out of the pram because they didn't get their own way. We live in democracy. Majority rules. I didn't like that a M.P. got murdered because someone disagreed with her & disagree with the attitudes of some others who voted the same way as me.

I've posted some of my stuff on Camelot & am on twitter. I am trying to get some pictures so I can do a 1 sentence per page book for my fairy-tale & come up with enough poems to write a book. I also write songs sometimes.

I've got a dinner & dance, a trip & a winter holiday planned.
