Milos played one of his best matches I have ever seen. He was clinical. Great job!

I was thinking before, is this a minor shock or not? Probably not now. Berdych has gone backwards and Milos is still incrementally improving.

Not really. Milos had good record against Tomas (4-2) even before, when Tomas was most of the time the higher ranked player.

Yeah but none on clay unless you count a retirement. Are you watching Djokovic/RBA?

That is true. But as you said, Milos is improving, he has had many winners from his BH side today, which is not usually the case.
Yes I am watching Novak.

Djoker grabs the opening stanza. Thought he was lacking patience in the earlier games, but he seems to be tuning in to the task at hand.

Djokovic seems to be hitting the ball a little bit better today. He takes the first set 6-4.

I heard them say that Milos only dropped 4 pts. on his first serve all match. I don't see how britbox is surprised, though...Berdych is in decline, for sure. But great play from Milos. Also Djoker looking better than against Bedene, and RBA is giving him a decent ride.

I'm not surprised... and said Berdych is going backward.

I don't know if the forum rules allow me to say this, but Wawrinka looks to be tanking. Every ball is hit with full force like a fool, errors flying miles out. You would think he is playing prime Nadal by the pace of his shots and not Isner of all people.
And I need to add, Agut is playing like a castrated dog. Unwatchable match. He is letting No2e hit him off the court.
Now watch Del Potro and Nishikori give simultaneous walkovers to each other...

Not seen the Wawrinka match, but nothing surprises me with him. He only seems to look interested when he gets to the semis, and is a tough out in any final.

:lulz2: Excellent. Now, try to be more forceful with your opinions, PM. Big John likes the clay, though.

1. The minor shock of today was cilic beating in form Goffin.

2. No Stan is exactly where he wants to be. His preparation is now over. He is going to be extremely dangerous at RG.
No, I am not being sarcastic.

Stan is not done yet. He's scheduled to play in Geneva next week.

I agree that Stan's preparation is now over, I have not any doubt that he could win RG again, it doesn't matter how the other players play, and even that he has not very good results in Wimbledon I wouldn't be surprised that he will be a dangerous opponent, his style of play could help him a lot if he will focus on it

Crazy-great point by Rafa to go up 3-0 over Sock. Some shot to finish!

I think enough is enough. Rafa tomorrow should play easy, not too much effort, some good points and go home, resting, improving his forehand and ready for RG where Stan will be waiting for him. Meanwhile Delpo, Novak and Thiem (who should win his first MS) could continue fighting for the Trophy :D

I just saw the Milos-Bird match. Haven't seen Milos hit this clean in a long time. Impressive stuff.
Yes, I thought he was struggling to come back from injury, but he seems in good form now.

I'm with you that I wouldn't mind seeing Rafa bow out gracefully v. Thiem and then get some rest. If he won tomorrow, he'd pass Stan and go to #3, but that makes no never mind to RG. It doesn't seem like anything from here on in changes the ranking for the French, just some bragging rights. I wouldn't mind seeing Rafa beat Djokovic one more time, but that would put him in the final, which is a lot of tennis.
