Well done to 20 yo Martin Landaluce a co-favorite of Mrzz and myself defeating Medjedovic 75 64
Martin reaches his 2nd Masters QF
Martin came through qualifying and reaching the Miami QF a couple of months ago
He's back but this time as a LL

BTW,
Sinner d Pellegrino 62 63
Jannik gets his 31st consecutive win in Masters events tying with Djokovic for the longest win streak in Masters 1000 History'
26 consecutive wins
23 Masters QFs at 24 yo
He's now won 62 of the last 64 sets he's played in Masters Events, which is arguably the most insane stat of the bunch
3rd Rome QF
Won 48 of the last 50 matches
The scariest part, he looks soo calm and relaxed while doing it all!

Something ain’t right with Zverev in today’s match..
Mental perhaps? I know he was saying he had back pain before, he was tired, as you know I am not a fan period
Hang on I just found the excuse
Zverev said it was the worst court he has played on, and the ball jumps over my head.. I had BP, the ball rolls? strange that Darderi was playing on the same court? that is why one of the reasons why he wont win a GS title he blames everyone else when he loses, or something, apart from his overall game and Zverev said he should have won in 2 sets.
He also said he has played a lot of tennis of late and he was tired? Enough Said from the Excuse King!

The ball only jumps over his 6'6" head? Really?

I would suggest some of these players need to personally attend and scout out Jannik matches ..it’s amazing the tells that you can view watching your opponents playing live on court if possible..jannik is a legendary player but the rest of the tour needs to approach it like Arnold aka Dutch in Predator “..if it bleeds we can kill it.”
"Everyone has a plan until they get punched in a face" :D

Competition is bunch of losers right now, no matter what they do, they've lost it before they even step on the court. Until they make changes to their game and the mindset, they will never win anything any time soon.

One thing I noticed is the players try to defeat him from the baseline..I would body serve and volley …trying a change of pace by baiting him with the slice and change of tempo

Some matches players should watch if they want to beat Sinner:

2020, 2021 French Open vs. Rafael Nadal - these will help on clay

2023 Wimbledon vs. Novak Djokovic, 2025 vs. Grigor Dmitrov - these will help on grass

2025 US Open vs. Alcaraz - this will help on hard court
