Shelton powers through to the Quarters. 3/6 6/4 6/3 6/3. Impressive performance.

Shelton meets Sinner in the quarters and heads into that with a 1-8 H2H record against the Italian.

A few lopsided h2h's in the QFs. I don't see Ben giving Red alot of trouble. Maybe a set is all I can see in the crystal ball.

If Learner plays 70% of the way he did against Meddy, Zed is toast. I've been waiting on it all year. His serve is still a liability at times and he'll need to limit love offerings to Zed's BH.

Seeing I am going to the AO today, I will miss the day matches but will be on RLA for the night matches, hopefully I dont melt away in the heat forecasted in Melbourne today 45c apparently it will be a ' record heat for the AO" I honestly think the roofs will be closed on RLA, MC Arena and John Cain Arena

I am excited to watch Alcaraz live for the very first time, I am a big fan like many other people he does have a complete game for such a young player and he has too many weapons for de Minaur, though the Aussie press god love them, think Alex can win? moving on, Carlos hasnt lost a set on his way to the QFs and looks in great shape and leads their H2H 5-0.I expect a Alcaraz win.

Imagine being Tien: you're in your first Slam QF and the other seven guys are ranked 1-7.
BTW
I was listening to Darren Cahill yesterday and he has watched the 24 yo Spizzirri before and said he has a really solid all court game, hopefully he can get his seeding up
In regards to Tien playing Zverev I was looking at their data when Tien took down Zverev in Acapulco and Tien did have an advantage off the ground

Please Oz has always had hot temps in our Summer, nothing new at all, I remember at school temps were over 100F and I am nearly 70, forget about the global climate change.
Yup. Nothing new at all and I'm personally glad right now a lot of the climate change nut jobs have stfu 'cos we have cold weather in most places right now where it's winter. Who'd ever have guessed that winter would be cold and summer would be hot.

Hey, Front! Nice to see you. Still denying global climate change? The fact that significant weather events get worse and worse, and closer together eludes you? But sure, yes, summer is hot (and getting hotter!) and winter is cold, but also mostly getting warmer. Take a look at the Alps, for one. No sympathy for the polar bears?

I have been only watching this match in between tasks, but Lerner, while troubling Zed a bit, hasn't made any serious headway. But, hey, mini-break back. If he can sneak this set, he's still in the conversation.

I did not post my above with much belief, but Tien did win that TB. One set apiece. The trouble he's been giving finally paid off.
