Hi Sid,

Weren't you a big Murray fan on T4U? I used to post their occassionally.

There are a couple of Murray fans here... particularly Iona16.

Welcome, BB

And this is my castle when it's angry:

Don't make it angry.

El Alcázar de Segovia. It's actually rather delicate, I think, and I picked it because I thought it was feminine. It's also the first castle I ever visited, so it's mine. Smile

RE: The Castle
wow princess moxie.

that is a stunning castle indeed. is this castle in spain?

you will have your very own castle displayed at the opening page where it will stay forever and ever.

and your name will be right next to it.

I have to make a run to the grocery store but I keep looking at castles.

I first fell in love with castles when I was a kid.

I got left behind as far as real castles go. I have a cousin who used to live in south Hampton, England. his ship came in one day evidently.

he married a very wealthy French woman and rest as they say is history. he owns a castle in france and he lives in Switzerland.

we have to find a way to get emma here general sid.

can you send her a PM if and when you get a chance.

also send me your password for this place here general sid in a PM. I will add a murray sig form you here that will have exactly 4 images like my own sig here.

they have done some studies about sigs at forums: sigs serve a lot of functions that average folks are not aware of. first and foremost they add colour, character, and emotion to any forum. they also add some energy to the forum.

they constitute an important tool to bring newcomers to the forums. potential guests look for sigs to get clues about a forum. so our sigs speak for us 24 hours a day even when we are not around.

we have people representing and supporting many different players here. the world needs to know that the second they come here.

Oh, Princess Moxie, shall it be now? I LIKE it! General Clay Death, our castle is indeed in Spain. Segovia. It is not the most sumptuous or comfortable, but it has been a bulwark against onslaught. We thought it suited our champion, Rafa.

I love that, in the midst of all this palaver you have to make a run to the grocery store. Good to keep it real. Lay Down Laughing

Hi Sid, I remember some of the names, although I was only an occasional visitor. Were you a Chelsea fan? or am I getting wires crossed?

So t4u is in a civil war? Always seemed a pretty quiet board when I went on it and the guy who ran it (Scott) always seemed ok.

I recognized Princesa Moxie's castle the second I saw it. I have heard that it, along with the Bavarian castile with the German name I can't write or pronounce, was the inspiration of Cinderella's castle in Walt Disney World--and rightfully so. Spain has always been a land of dreams. Plus, it has had El Cid and Don Quijote! Smile

Virgil Cane is the name ...

alright, why not. here, right in my little hometown, Burg Feistritz am Wechsel.

[Image: das-10-hagen-open---kammermusikfest-auf-...871744.jpg]

i was lucky enough to have a classmate in elementary school who lived there, because his mum was the head carekeeper. most awesome place to spend soo many afternoons playing.

interestingly enough, in the mind of a 9yr old, it's not just suitable for playing knights and fighting dragons. works just as fine for post-apocalyptic warriors, secret agents, or the A-Team. Wink

and shawn, the german one is Neuschwanstein. Noy-shwan-styne, i guess Wink
