Best pizza
Any pizza lovers out there? Do you have a favorite kind? Favorite place?

A friend recently recommended Giordano's, in Chicago. I don't live near there, but discovered that they'll ship them to you half-baked, so I just ordered two: one that's just cheese, and the other is their spinach pizza.

Anyone had Giordano's? Or have another place to recommend?

RE: Best pizza
Chicago-style (stuffed) pizza is some of the best I've ever had. There are several great restaurants here, but if I had to put them in order, here's my top 5:
1. Rosatis
2. Lou Malnati's
3. Giordono's
4. Edwardo's
5. Gino's East
Tied for 6. Aurellio's and Beggars

I'm originally from St. Louis and there is wonderful flat crust place called Imo's.

Thanks for the recommendations. Rosatis doesn't ship, but Lou Mainati's does. I'll have to give them a try after Giordano's.

Does anyone else have a favorite pizza restaurant?

I like pizza a lot but I have cut down on the consumption.

for me any freshly done pizza is usually more than good enough.

domino's works just fine for me.

After Naples, where they invented pizza, I think John's in the West Village of NYC has the best thin-crust, oven-made pizzas. I know the Chicago people go for the thick crust, but I don't buy into that. Thin-crust is classic.

I love pizza and Italian food in general, and whenever I go to a good Italian restaurant and they have a wood burning oven, the pizza ends up being nice. As far as chains are concerned, there is one in Toronto called Mama's Pizza, and that the best for my taste.
Also, being a Nutella nut, there is a chain here called Pizzaville that makes a desert pizza with Nutella on top. Tongue. Love it. Anything with Nutella...Clap

RE: Best pizza
ok pizza man somebody should look into firing up a travel thread.

what do you think?

I will just go ahead and volunteer you general tented.

and when you are done with that, we have to try to get the castle out of the blocks and up and running. I know it is going to take some time.

it may even take a year before we can show any significant growth at the castle.

of course it will perish of the locals don't support it at all.

I think the difference maker is wood burning brick oven and local ingredients, so I put this forward: EVO Charleston . I am also going to go to Roberta's in Brooklyn next week.

As far as the deep dish issue, I like it but it ain't pizza. It's doughy lasagna.

I love freshly made thin crust pizza hot out the oven, and all cheez in general. But, I can't digest it any longer Blush Yup, the big "C" lol. But, when I get the urge to cheat, there's an Italian restaurant in Jersey called Ferraro's. Their sausage and onion thin crust is the bomb!!

Also, there's a place in NYC that makes a Suicide Pie (extra thick crust that includes everything but the kitchen sink). Excellent hot or cold for breakfast Cool I can't remember the name of the establishment tho!!

According to my point of view hot pan pizza is best because it is my favorite. I tried this first time at Pizza and Pasta Buffet when I went to Legoland Florida with my family. It was delicious.

Have a great fun with tours to yosemite
