I've rooted against them all playoffs, wanted Paul George and the Pacers to advance and then was hoping for the Heat and Cavs ECF. Hopefully they don't spoil what figures to be a decent NBA finals by somehow beating the Cavs. Games like last night are one of those where Lebron needs to say F it and shoot 30 times. It's not his comfort zone but when the supporting cast is that cold he has to take over more.

Haha, don't worry Darth, Cavs are the better team and will win this series, but Raps WERE better than both Miami and Indy, they just could not show it consistently. The effects of the past years , like you said. But they are learning. Next year, they will have the confidence too.

The "decent" final you are expecting, does it involve GSW or OKC?

I may have come off as a Raps hater in the last post, my apologies Devil

But I have always liked Wade since he played at Marquette in college about 15 miles from me. He is already an all-time great and I was happy to see him turn back the clocks a little bit. It was a great series and Toronto did well to win it. I didn't think they would beat Miami after struggling badly with the Pacers. Paul George has grown on me over the years especially after coming back from that injury. Hopefully the Pacers get some good players around him again. Firing Vogel was a stupid move by Bird.

I think either of the potential finals, OKC or GSW vs. Cleveland would be good. Matchup wise I'd favor Cleveland over OKC. They have the bigs to hold their own on the glass and they have more options on offense and HCA but with OKC's red hot confidence it'd be hard to not have them as the favorites in the finals.

If GSW rallies and beats OKC, which I think is very unlikely, then I think they will take the Cavs again. Golden State gambled by chasing down the record and I think it's caught up physically and mentally. If they had cruised to a "mere" 70 wins and rested some of the guys the last couple weeks of the season I don't think we'd see them losing by 40 points in a playoff game.

First foul call against the Cavs comes in the second quarter, around 8 minute mark, and the refs get a standing ovation from the crowd ! Awesomeness...

Cavs aren't playing a lick of defense, it all starts there.

For the first time in 6 years, Raps did not have a foul shot in the first half. There were around 6 or 7 that were "missed". At least...

And they are still creaming the Cavs. Pretty embarrassing defense in this game. Toronto might win this series now especially with Lebron deferring all game.

I think Lebron will take over in the 4th. Raps are getting tired it looks like. See if they can hold on to this lead but I doubt it.

It's back and forth now, both teams hitting some tough shots.

Lebron is playing no defense and refuses to take any shots. All starts with the leader and he is playing flaky out there.

Man, Raps almost lost to Channing Fry ! I can live with losing to Bron but this?
Anyways, character win from the Raps! They might lose this series but I hope they earned a bit of respect.

"Other " just tied the series...

Raps w/ some pretty big Kahunas. Clap Stepped up to the plate late in the 4th and stole the game back. I think Casey's 25k fine for blasting the refs was well worth it. I saw a few missed calls on both sides in the 4th.

Murat, the question is can your boys (Demar and Kyle especially) go into Cleve and put up 30 pts each? That's what it's gonna take to secure a win in game 5 or a game 7.

No...Big Smile

But they are a proud bunch and want to show they belong. This was a character win.

Playing Lebron in the post is pointless if he is no threat to score the ball. With the big loss in athleticism he seems to doubt himself playing in the post. There is no reason he should only be taking 16 shots in a game like this. He sometimes doesn't have an aggressive mindset and it hurts the team. Toronto probably wins this series now.

He had to be tired Darth. He played the entire 2nd half. The others needed to pick up the slack and they didn't. Love was virtually absent, Kyrie hit a couple of shots, but when crunch time came (last 3 min), they couldn't buy a basket.

I thought that was the right call. He clearly hit Lebron's left hand before making any contact with the ball. It was a rare occasion where it was an amazing defensive play even though he fouled him.
