JR showing his supreme talent....
These highlights speak for themselves. This is the most offensively talented player in the NBA when allowed and encouraged to play freely (which, unfortunately, does not happen all too often because of coaches' mistaken belief in "structure" and offensive sets at every turn). The double-crossover into the baseline drive for the dunk integrated high skill with excellent basketball instincts, intelligent intuitive recognition, and obviously sensational athletic ability:

Talented? sure. Most offensively talented in the NBA? He's not the most offensively talented on his team. And let's not even touch Lebron, Kevin Durant and Kobe.

David has actually accomplished more, and has a better case of being the most talented player in tennis. That should tell you everything.

JR's passing tonight in the first half against Dallas has been outstanding. That's 6 assists for all you statheads, including 3 really good ones to Hardaway.

Between his passing and on-point shooting, he has brought the Knicks back from being down 14. They are down 60-59 at the half.

And boy has JR shown that talent this week.

He just set the NBA record for most three point shots made in a 3-game span, breaking Steph Curry's record of 20 from two years ago.

He also put on a fantastic passing display in the first quarter against Brooklyn on Wednesday night, which included John Stockton-esque bounce passes on the pick-and-roll.

Utterly marvelous.
