^ Have them all but only watched Unleashed which I actually thought was good. They called it Danny The Dog in the US Cover Bob Hoskins was good in that and some decent fight scenes. For a very good martial arts film I recommend Blood And Blood (2009) with Michael Jai White. Guy is badass.

Ah great, thanks, because the missus is heading away for a few nights next weekend so I like my diet of beers and takeaway and a few chop socky flicks. They don't have that Michael Jai White film on Netflix, but what about Falcon Rising?

You better start watching these films, buddy, no point me asking you if you haven't! Snicker.

I'll try Unleashed first next week. It gets a 7 on iMDB, which isn't shoddy... Hug

Haven't watched Falcon Rising yet but flicked through it and looks decent. I love Jai White's deep menacing voice, he's class.

Some great fight scenes in that. Can't go wrong with Dolph Lundgren, Michael Jai White and Tony Jaa. Jai White is an incredible martial artist. 7 black belts in Tang Soo Do, Wushu, Kyokushin, Shotokan, Tae Kwon Do, Kobudo and Goju Ryu.

They're after filming another Bourne movie with Matt Damon. Now, much as I enjoyed the first 3 (the last 2nd and 3rd are basically inferior remakes of the first film), I think this one looks like yest another remake of the first film. The usual types are there, with Tommy lee Jones drafted in to replace the Brian Cox character. I'm a little dubious about it...

RE: The Movie Reel
It's an action hero flick with a diff, right? I'll check it out when it comes in DVD.

I binged on the last two Superman films, thought they weren't as bad as I expected, although Batman v Superman is very messy and cluttered. We don't need to see the Dark Knight's back story every film, and Doomsday is a film in itself, but was tacked onto the last 30 minutes here because they seemed at a loss as to who their villain should be. Jesse Eisenberg was hopelessly miscast as Lex Luther. It's kinda like the mistake the TV show Sherlock made when casting Moriarty - they sent a kid to do a man's job. Lex Luther and Moriarty are evil geniuses, not angry teenagers with skin issues.

I watched Avengers, Age of Ultron too. My brother told me before I watched that it was the weakest Marvel film, but I enjoyed that too. I must be easily pleased. The Marvel films are the ultimate in lightweight entertainment. Kids can watch them too (although not Deadpool, according to Murat Snicker ), and this was no exception.

Gonna watch Jurassic World later... Popcorn

Captain America Civil War reviews are extremely positive!! I expect it will be the blockbuster of this year like The Force Awaken was in 2015/2016

Spoilers Alerts;

The movie is phenomenal, best Marvel movie by Far, Storylines are fantastic and action sequences are on par with the first Avengers movie. Four Stars ALL the way

RE: The Movie Reel
Academy Awards..I have seen 5 (Moonlight, Hidden Figures, Arrival, Hell or High Water, and Fences)of maybe the nine movies that are vrying for Picture of the year. Hidden Figures really is moving and really should be called a Hidden story because it's truly an extraordinary plight of those 3 women efforts to assist NASA in their race to space. Fences :The performances by Denzel and Viola Davis really are amazing and overall a good movie. Hell or High water is a gritty drama which has Jeff Bridges at his best. Arrival is worthless and the biggest waste of my time EVER at a movie theater. Now to Moonlight...a coming to age of a young man about his sexuality and his place in society.Moonlight is a pure masterpiece. We all know that there's a real struggle for young kids who are unfortunately living on the other side of the railroad tracks but their lives still matter and is of importance regardless how great the odds are stacked against them to survive. This was the real picture of the year although we all know the bias snobs will not award it that honor. I will not see LaLa land because my self diagnosed ADHD will not allow to suffer through any musical besides Grease and Saturday Night Fever. My advice watch Moonlight and Hidden Figures should move your emotions to tears.

Was all the drama about wrong announcement, is it staged or real?

It was real not staged. The idiots at the accounting firm Price Waterhouse Coopers had previously tallied the votes and held them secret gave Warren Beatty a duplicate envelope that had just been given towards the best actress category instead of the correct one for best picture . Poor Warren Beatty was made to look like a fool but it wasn't his fault. Too bad..it really stole some of the luster from the producers of Moonlight doing their acceptance speech.
